Hitman21ST
http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=6179488 Former Indianapolis Colts safety Bob Sanders plans to sign a one-year deal with the San Diego Chargers Thursday night, a league source told ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter. That will help to solidify their secondary. At the least, if he's healthy he gives Weddle a chance to shine. Of course, he has to stay healthy. Posting this more as a "**** you" to Dallas, because he didn't sign there. :dallasuck They're still stuck with Ball and Sensabaugh, while the Skins now have the best safety tandem in the NFL
bushwack
This is more of a back up plan for the Chargers if they can't retain Weddle, who has stated that he won't take less money to stay with the Chargers. I could see Weddle leaving San Diego, because of their dick GM A.J. Smith. http://www.rotoworld.com/player/nfl/4223/player?r=

Hitman21ST
The heat in San Diego gives him heat stroke coming off the plane, he hits IR before even putting on pads.
darklight1216
This is one of those low risk no reward (for SD) kind of deals.
KingGibbs
This is one of those low risk no reward (for SD) kind of deals. That would be low risk high reward. It really is true about Ravens fans being idiots.
Mr. Jones
Even when he was healthy Sanders was probably the most over rated player I have ever seen. People talk about how amazing he is but he has 15 passed defended, 6 INT and has forced 2 fumbles in his career. By comparison Gerald Sensabaugh had 12 passes defended and 5 INT just last year, and he's a very average player

Mr. Jones
People are more impressed with his sure tackling and hitting ability. There are lots of big hitting sure tackling safeties that also caused a lot of turnovers and were never even considered for defensive player of the year, 2006 Roy Williams comes to mind
darklight1216
That would be low risk high reward. It really is true about Ravens fans being idiots. There won't be any reward when he's on IR like always. What an excellent reprensentative of the Redskins fanbase. I'm starting to think that Pittsburgh doesn't have the worst fans in the league. People are more impressed with his sure tackling and hitting ability. Maybe they're more impressed with the media coverage that his team gets.
