Lingerie Football League Could Move Games to Sunday in NFL Lockout!

CLEVELAND - The Lingerie Football League (LFL) is eager to cash in on a possible NFL lockout, with officials announcing Wednesday it is considering moving its games from Friday nights to Sunday afternoons if the national league's season is delayed or suspended, WKYC-TV reported.

NFL owners emerged from a day-long session of mediated labor talks with the NFL Players Association on Wednesday and said no definitive decision had been made on whether to lock out the players, FOX Sports reported.

The Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) between the two sides expires at midnight ET on Thursday.

The LFL, a seven-on-seven league played by scantily-clad women, has expanded with three more franchises for its third season -- the Las Vegas Sin, Cleveland Crush and Green Bay Chill.

Doesn't mean any of these games will be aired on any network that millions of people will watch, and this doesn't mean that people will watch these games anyways.

If there is no NFL this fall, then college football will take over the weekend by having games on both Saturdays and Sundays.

Go to the league website sometime. A lot of these girls have serious butter faces. Some look like dudes. Great booties and fake tits will go along way and I guess that is why they put helmets on them.

Some of these girls DO have some talent, though. Obviously not NFL talent, but I saw one promo-clip for the league awhile ago where the QB bootlegs towards the sideline away from the pressure, throws a frozen rope 20+ yards down the sideline, where its caught barely in-bounds.

Not impressive compared to the NFL, but not powder-puff football, either. I wish I had a freakishly athletic/tough family member to get into this. :ols:

the biggest danger with LFL that I can see is that since they are reversing rolls (the athletes are now scantily clad women) that might mean that Albert Haynesworth becomes a sideline cheerleader. Think of the seismic tremors that would cause!

if there is no NFL this fall. Then the UFL and CFL would be dumb to not at least put some of their games on sunday's.

Even if its on comcastsportsnet, I think they'd get some viewers.

The only problem with the UFL is that their season is supposed to begin in the summer (during NFL preseason) and run to October, I believe.

What I would kinda enjoy is if each market got to get a repeat of their favorite or best season. So, we in DC would get to re-live the '91 skins season and the 49ers would get to re-experience Montana or maybe Young's great year. Chicago would get to replay 1985. The Seahawks... well, we could let them see the '91 'skins season too... after all, who wants that kind of flashback. The Eagles could play back their championship year... errr... well... you know what I mean.

At first I thought that you had made a spelling error, but then realized that you had indeed made a very clever pun. ;)

Actually, I was thinking that if I was, say, the Big 12, I'd go offer ESPN a deal where, if they'll raise my money this year by, say, 25%, and guarantee the increase, then I'll sign a contract saying that if the NFL locks out, then all Big 12 games will be moved to Sunday.

That is actually a pretty awesome idea. As a younger Skins fan, the best team I have ever seen was one that won a single playoff game. Despite knowing the outcome, I am sure I'd enjoy watching the 91 Skins...

No, you wouldn't. It would just make you really, really, depressed.
