Conn
Torain grew on me more and more as the season went on. I went from not liking his running style to saying "**** it, if he gets injured, Shanahan will plug someone else in in the future". I do think having a starting-caliber backup will be important, while Torain is the #1 RB here. But who knows how that will turn out, after a training camp competition between all the RB's. If there is a training camp. Either way, he needs to be part of a one-two punch at RB, at least. Maybe with a third guy in there.
HRNY4ZRNY
Awesome job. Would of liked a rock song either from Breaking Benjamin or Sevendust but you did a good job. Nice to have some football threads instead of phone slamming threads. LOL This is mental jewelery...
authentic
I will admit. I thought Torain was camp fodder during the offseason. But now i definately wouldn't mind having him as the starter. My only concern is his health. Man, Shanny knows him some running backs.
ABSTRACT
Torain baby!!!!!!!!!!! Anyone who says Shanahan didn't bring alot of young talent on this team is an idiot. We never acquired so many young cheap productive players before! Ryan Torain Adam Carriker Kory Litchensiger Anthony Armstrong Terrence Austin (he's gonna be a beast for us...very explosive guy) Brandon Banks Jammal Brown (no he's not young, but he's gonna be a great RT for us for a couple of years) Anthony Bryant (great backup NT/rotational D-line guy for us) Selvish Capers (our future RT...dude will be a beast once he gets his strength up) and my favorite Perry Riley. In Shanahan I trust!!!!

I remember saying during the Buffalo preseason game that Torain would be a guy to watch but everyone said Keiland was the guy. Guess it wasn't a bad call either way although Torain has more potential to be a big time force for us. Williams can be a very effective #3 RB/3rd down for us though

I expect 2 more great RBs on this roster....I am just glad that Torain is one of them and that he's young.

skinsince72
This guy runs with heart. I haven't seen someone hungry like that for some while now. If we lock down the OT position on the lright side, our running game will make our passing game look very good.

If we lock down the OT position on the lright side, our running game will make our passing game look very good. Our tackles are actually good. Torain is an inside runner that runs guys over. The scary thing is our interior O-line is below average. If we improve that....Torain will be a very productive north-south runner just like Portis was. Torain can rack the yards up definitely. Just imagine him running behind Trent WIlliams and Davin Joseph...smh....instant 6 yrds per carry average lol. Especially if we get a strong FB to block for him. Guest Spearfeather
With a solid and consistant Offensive line in front of him, Torain will eat up yards in a hurry. He's really not that slow, and he's tough to bring down. He fights for the extra yard until the very end ( Riggins was great at that ) and seems to almost always be facing forward when he get's tackled. I'd be interested to hear how fans compare his running style to Riggins and S. Davis ? Liked the highlights.

holmester
Great video my man. Thing I love about Torain is that he is a prime example of Shanahans eye for talent and the potential of his system. He is a great building block for this offense and if we can find him a true complement our running game will really take off. Another thing that I have noticed about Torain is that he really doesn't need alot of plays to get into his groove. He's got great vision and really understands the system and how to take advantage of what the line is giving him. He really is a great back for a 1-2 punch.
