Truant
http://nbcsports.msnbc.com/id/41182977/ns/sports-player_news/ NFL Network's Jason La Canfora reports that Albert Haynesworth is willing to take less money to play for new Eagles DL coach Jim Washburn again. Haynesworth had his best seasons under Washburn in Tennessee, and the Eagles are expected to make finding a playmaking defensive lineman an offseason priority. A healthy, motivated Haynesworth would make RE Trent Cole that much more dangerous. This all assumes that Haynesworth is released rather than traded. The Skins will try to get something for him first.
Conn
You don't send AH to someone like the Eagles, where he'll be motivated to ****ing destroy your QB at least twice a year, for less than a 2nd round pick. And since that's not happening, this isn't happening. I also don't see us releasing him at all, knowing how badly he wants to go to a divisional rival where he'd excel. We'd trade him for a 7th to an AFC team first, you'd think.
terrifNick21
My jaw dropped at "Haynesworth wants to play".
aamiha73
I saw this and was wondering, while AH would take less $$ to play there, would Mr Reid want him? If he's motivated, sure, but that's the question. Do you think Reid would take that risk?
WSHRedskins3ATLBraves3
He will not be traded to philly. Albert cashed that check, so he has no input as to where he is going. Heck, maybe we should try to get that money back before sending him anywhere.
Dro89
Barring the Eagles dropping us a 2nd and a future 3rd.. i dont take this deal.. i mean Detriot would be a team to trade for him.. Minny.. and Tenn.. 3 teams that i would take 3rd rounders from..
DWinzit
I was afraid he'd say something as soon as I heard of the Washburn hire. Next will be the get Kolb in a trade talk.
NoVaSkins21
Yeah, I don't see the Skins making Haynesworth's wishes come true. I don't think there's any way in hell they do what Philly did and do an inter-divisional trade which would benefit them more than the Skins. Genghis Khan
I like that very slowly interest in haynesworth is rebuilding Lets just hope this leads to some bidding war.
Horton_Predator48
Of course he will play for less, he's already hit the jackpot. I would love to see him rot on the bench just out of spite.

I know it's a business, the NFL, but for the chance to wreck the Redskins twice a year (especially if Shanny's the coach), I wouldn't be surprised if he'd take less money and play all out. jfriedenthal
Albert can buy out his contract. He can be a FA at his own discretion, it was written in. If he does that, he could sign with the Eagles.
Darth Tater
Their 2nd (McNabb rip-off) and 3rd (restitution) plus our 4th (got give that back to us). Conditional 3rd next year if he goes to the pro-bowl (actual trade).
Stophovr6
Two 1st round picks from them and nothing less. Anyone else can have him for a 3rd.

Hitman21ST
The price will be jacked up so ridiculous, even more than Kolb for two firsts, that no one in their right mind will take it. Which means that Andy Reid probably will take it. Haynesworth said the Eagles because he just doesn't want to have to face Vick anymore. Vick made him look like the fool he was on the sleeping on the field play, he's scared.
Chachie
I just want him gone.
Bat~man
I want him gone as well, but I want something for him. If we can't trade him, just hang on to his lazy butt and suspend him for his upcoming "conduct detrimental to the team" incidents that we know will occur. Loyal2Washington
If the price is right with draft picks, we can ill afford to hold on to someone for spite. We need draft day ammo to fill the roster.
jflow78
Yeah, I'm sure we're going to trade AH, a player who will be out for blood against us, to the team that won our division last season. Right. You know what, sure, we'll pretend. I'll pretend that the Eagles are going to give me the first rounder and Kolb, which is what it would take for me to feel I got enough to send him to Philly. In other words, this ain't happnin'. More likely, he gets traded to Detroit or Tennessee.
Conn
TVick made him look like the fool he was on the sleeping on the field play, he's scared. Haynesworth would actually need to have a passion for the game of football to feel this way. I don't see it, and I highly doubt that that play bothers him.
