Sportsbooks (Gambling) - Advice

Since we seem to have a lot of gambling fans here on ES – I figured this would be a good place to ask questions about sportsbooks. I want to make casual bets for entertainment. Maybe $500 a year. Probably start by putting in $150 or $200 as see what happens. Not trying to be a pro. Just want to be able to make simple and safe bets from time to time for fun.

Having looked around, the deposit and withdraw process seems really complicated and sometimes outrageously expensive (for withdraws) for so many sportsbooks. I don’t want to pay $50 to get my money out, when I only plan to gamble $500 or so a year. I don’t want to have to go to the grocery store and transfer money to a random person via Western Union or jump through a thousand hoops to transfer money.

I signed up for an account with Bookmaker. It seemed to have a good reputation. But after trying to deposit money with my CC, they want me to call a number and do this and that. Again, just looking for something simple.

Obviously US laws make it hard, and maybe what I am looking for is not out there, but are there any sports books that are SIMPLE. Will accept my VISA or Mastercard credit card and simply send me a check if I want to cash out for a SMALL fee.

You can also PM info if you don't want to throw it out here on the web.

Well - Not that I bet online (Which would be illegal)....

but if I did I could tell you that bodog.com is very straightfoward, has multipile easy ways to deposit money (Ussally for less then $1), allowes free withdrawls (Although they do take up to 30 days) and will send you a check.

You can bet as little as $1 if you wanted to...

All of course, second hand...

oh - And if you do go to Bodog, hit me a PM...also heard of a referal bonus..you know..in case I did use it (which I didn't say I did). :)
