Yeah I still don't get what you're trying to say here. There are many areas on this team that need attention. The main problem with our o-line is in the interior, you DO NOT draft interior lineman in the top 10, unless you're a moron. There are more issues on this team than just the o-line, reaching for a player that you shouldn't, when you have many other outlets, is plain stupid. And in my post, I said that if you were desperate for a " tackle" in the top 10, and he's available to you, then you should take him.

This is true no way we use a top 10 pick on on interior lineman for the OLINE. I havent really heard of a NT out there that will jump up into the top 10 prospects so my gut feeling is that we are looking at either WR (Julio Jones or AJ Green) or RB (Ingram) with the top 10. Who know with Shanny if Luck Newton or Mallett is still on the board he could pull the trigger on the franchise to sit behind McNabb.......this is going to be an interesting draft only because we have so many holes to fill.

I wouldn't cry with AJ Green. Very intrigued about Newton.

Fix the OL. Mike Pouncey, center out of Florida, soon to be Rimington award winner for the best college football center. Couple him with Mankins in FA and the center of the OL is vastly improved.

Keeping Rabach for another year dooms the offense and the Skins won't be able to find a good center in the second round. If you don't mind taking a gamble Wisniewski of Penn State should be available in the 5th round and can probably start in 2012, but like Rbach, he's undersized.

Have you watched Pouncey snap the ball this year? I think he's bounced at least fifteen snaps to Brantley in the shotgun.

And he's not even a center, he's a converted OG. The only reason he's a Center is because Meyer didn't have any quality players there, and was forced to slide Pouncey over..

Great call Wild Bill. Let's draft a guy with a 2nd round grade in the top 10.

Yep. I'd be fine with him as a guard, but I dont think he's a long term solution at center. I'd like to see us get Wisniewski from PSU. Either way, Rabach MUST GO

Draft OL/DL in first round if there is a dominate player. If not trade down for more picks. Draft QB Pat Devlin out of the University of Delaware in the 2nd or 3rd round unless he keeps shooting up the QB rankings in the 1-AA playoffs like Flacco did.

You going to take a center with a top 15 pick?

We basically need a player for every position. Sure NT and Center are, in this fans opinion, our greatest needs but only one of those positions is high first round value and that's the NT. Unless Prince or AJ Green is on the board, I say you go with the best NT/DT on the board. Address center in the second!

Peterson from LSU in the 1st. He could replace Rogers if he doesn't resign, or play FS is we still have Rogers next year.

Skins should dump McNabb and go after one of the top three QBs in this draft.

Andrew Luck, Ryan Mallett, Cam Newton. Skins are in good position to get one of those guys looking at the teams ahead of us who don't need QBs.

One of those three guys and then draft oline around him and Trent Williams.

Would it even be possible for us to trade McNabb in the offseason? I imagine Arizona or Minnesota might bite. Fitz is ticked in AZ with their horrendous QB situation and I don't think Minnesota wants to waste the rest of AP's productivity with Tavaris Jackson under center. But why wouldnt they just wait for us to cut him?

So you'd rather take an average lineman over an AJ Green?

At this point I would rather have an average O LINE than a bottom tier line with above average talent at WR becoming disgruntled and dividing the locker room due to the inherent issues that come with poor line play.

As much as I am a McNabb supporter, I've realized over these past few weeks that his ceiling is really making the playoffs, but probably not taking us to the Promised Land, i.e, Super Bowl... If Shanny really wants to start a dynasty here in DC, a complete reboot, starting with personally selecting a rookie QB, would be in order....

I know we need OL as much as the next fan, but if this is one of those years where we end up with a chance to land our own Bradford/Sanchez type player, it would be a mistake not to go for it.

The fact is, we WILL be better next year with McNabb under center, and we will probably have winning/playoff caliber records, but I don't think we'll ever go deep into the playoffs, so we'd only end up with low first round picks from here on out (like, say, #20 or lower)... Our best shot to get the QB that can get this team over the hump is in this year's draft

There are many areas on this team that need attention.

This ENTIRE TEAM from the coach down needs attention in one fashio or another, but by FAR the unit that needs attention the most is the lilne.

Look at our sacks, hurries, run for loss, and holds.

As my post earlier points out, i believe that many facets of our team will improve once the line inproves. NO WAY are you installing a "Culture of Winning" behind this OL as currently construed.

We agree, there are many areas of the team that need addressed, but I contend that OL is the WORST unit on team.

The main problem with our o-line is in the interior, you DO NOT draft interior lineman in the top 10, unless you're a moron.

My off the cuff thought is that i would rather be a moron with a top-flight OL than a mensa member that cannot run, pass and is wearing my D out due to the amount of time that they are on the field, with the best WR in the draft running around downfield looking at the QB lying on his back beneath a smoking pile of ruins.

There are more issues on this team than just the o-line, reaching for a player that you shouldn't, when you have many other outlets, is plain stupid. And in my post, I said that if you were desperate for a " tackle" in the top 10, and he's available to you, and worthy of the selection, then you should take him.

IF there are NO top-shelf (And i am not even cling this can't miss) OL and there are NO teams that will trade multiple 2-4 round picks for the first, and there is NO game changing NT (Suh-like) then MAYBE you draft a TOP FLIGHT LB. But you sure better follow that up with picks that have C, LG, RG and RT in their description.

I like McNabb. He's a great player, and a model citizen. Him 10 years ago is the right guy to build your team around. McNabb now would be perfect if the Skins were built to win now. We aren't. The Skins need to admit to themselves that they need a rebuild, and let him go to a team like Minny who is built to win now, then start respecting draft picks and use them on players coming out of college.

Until the skins start doing this, you will see threads like this every year.

Please, Danny and Shanny, blow this thing up and let's start over.

Pretty please?
