SonOfWashington
Man, you guys... You can't blast him for wanting to watch the Redskins. He's fighting for our country overseas and asked for our help to watch his favorite team. The least we can do is vote once every 24 hours or so. f*** the military!!! And you. Yes, but why subject our thousands of soldiers overseas to it as well? If they got word it was this guys fault they had to watch our ****ty team, they would hate him pretty deeply. Give the troops a good game to watch at least.

I don't believe anyone did anything that could be called "blasting him" (unless you count the nitwith that I think TK just rightly took care of). What some of us have said is that trying to tip the vote may help the OP, but do a disservice to the rst of the members overseas.
NavyDave
I voted for the game, shipmate but the game to watch next weekend is the army v NAVY game Saturday 2 pm EST.

Thats all I'm saying too. We're not bashing anyone, but its pretty obvious that this site is big enough to the point where we could sway any voting polls. I'm thinking of all of the troops, not just the ones who are skins fans, and they, as whole, deserve better than watching us get our asses kicked, again. No disrespect is intended, at all. NavyDave
f*** the military!!! Why hate? DADT unfortunately will be repealed. Or is that your B.O.B. needs replacing? Support the Troops and the Redskins
DarrellsMyHero28
Why hate? DADT unfortunately will be repealed. Or is that your B.O.B. needs replacing? No politics in the Stadium, thank you. -------- I think this game would honestly be better to show to anyone we're trying to interrogate, but I'll vote. Uh wrong, son. Team loyalty is team loyalty when I watched AFN/ AFRTs overseas back in the 90's in the Balkans, etc there were Cubs games, Saints games and Redskins games. Rufus T Firefly
Sorry about that. The comment did set me off. As well it should. I kept checking back to see if he was going to clarify it as a "joke" or finish some thought that we couldn't see or whatever. Just didn't believe he actually meant that. nonniey
How about all the servicemembers who aren't Redskin fans? Do we not care about them? They get to watch Saints games every week apparently.
NavyDave
Uhh...still don't see what that has to do with what I said. Because what you see as a disservice the members over there do not. Its still a piece of home they can embrace while over there good or bad. I saw games during the Norval years and wanted to see the games win or lose. My brothers or my daughter would send me week old tapes so I could see them if they weren't aired. It would be like me saying because I think GLEE sucks that others shouldn't be able to watch it overseas if its put to a primetime vote.
PleaseGoForTheWin
I'll be honest. I voted for New England-Chicago. Might as well see a real, meaningful game.

No, it would be nothing like that. It would be very much like trying to force all of them watch a crappy game because one guy wants to watch it. That's a lot closer to your Glee analogy, actually. nonniey
See the Saints are off to an early lead again. Bet this option gets cancelled by AFN next season if they win out on this vote for the rest ot the year (and I bet they will).

nonniey
Come guys, I understand voting for the best game but what is really happening here is that the Saints Boards are fully backing the Saints fans and they have run away with the games five weeks running. The Redskins board should support Redskins fans.
