Mark The Homer
It is very iffy. The seller tells me the jersey is authenticated by "Mid-Atlantic Memorabilia" which I happen to know sells counterfeit gamers. Here is the so-called COA. They owner of this sham operation is so stupid, he can't even run a spell check before he prints the fake COA. See this thread: http://www.extremeskins.com/showthread.php?287769-Counterfeit-Gamers Sorry 56Skin.

Mark The Homer
Yeah he sent me some. It's a 2004 size 46 white gamer. I don't see anything wrong with it other than there are no repairs or evidence of game use - although he says there are some blue marks on it. As we all know, the players wore jerseys for multiple games in 2004, so the fact that this jersey appears basically new makes it suspect. And the sham COA makes is especially suspect. Skins-Canes-Mounties
I bought a washed Lavar "gamer" from the Redskins tent sale a few years ago. It was one of the ones on the rack, not the bags. The Redskins store gave me a certificate, but I have my doubts whether it was actually worn. It is in pretty good shape with no evident wear. I will check the size when I have a chance.
Yeen80
Sounds like its nothing more than a team issued jersey. I wouldnt call it fake....just not "game worn"
shsandrs
The Jersey in question here was purchased from the Redskins end of year sale at the Stadium as game used . It was on the racks with all the other game used jerseys. Also in 2004 Lavar spent almost the whole game on the bench and so the jersey wouldn't have team repairs when he really hardly saw the field and was active for just 4 games that year. Jersey was purchased from the Redskins for $450 and still has their tagging on it.

Sounds like its nothing more than a team issued jersey. I wouldnt call it fake....just not "game worn"Agreed, unless it's accompanied by a COA that claims it was game worn. Again, I emphasize here, the seller is KNOWN for selling counterfeit jerseys. IMO, the jersey has more value without the so-called COA. And, by the way, how come the jersey doesn't include a COA from the team, anyway? The Jersey in question here was purchased from the Redskins end of year sale at the Stadium as game used . The biggest problem with the jersey, IMO, is this particular COA, since the guy who issues them sells counterfeits. He sells counterfeits, he knows he sells counterfeits, and he sells them with impunity. So you can't help but wonder when he claims he actually came up with a legit jersey because he claims all his jerseys are legit when they are clearly not. Also, the guy is such a friggin' idiot, he can't even bother to spell the words correctly on his COA. My experience is, anybody that stupid and disorganized is probably a scammer. But we already know that.
56Skin
I am the owner of this jersey. After receiving a copy of the receipt from the Fed Ex Store and matching it to the tag on the jersey, it is listed as a "Player Worn" jersey. I spoke to the Fed Ex store and they confirmed this. However, it is not a "Game Worn" jersey. The jersey is in very good condition and does have a few blue scuff marks and a few minor grass stains, but I have no idea whether these are legit. I am under the impression this jersey is not "Fake," however, it is just not game worn.

56Skin
That's a good question and Mark would probably be able to better answer that one. I don't know. Maybe it was indeed worn in a game. Maybe it was preseason. Maybe they were added after the fact. I really don't know. The receipt that the Ebay seller sent me form the Fed Ex store matches the serial number on the jersey hang tag and the Fed Ex store verified it was "Player Worn." But apparently that doesn't mean it was "game worn." The Fed Ex store said that they sell the Game Worn jerseys with "Game Worn" tags and that these usually have much more wear and often repairs and patches. It's a nice jersey but I would be hard pressed to ever find a photo of LaVar wearing it with so few marks to try to match.
Mark The Homer
The people answering the phone at the Stadium Store are employees of Main Gate (not the team).
