jnhay
Yeah, that's the point I tried to make in post 7. It was a great point. lol... seeing how slow a guy hits a hole and gets tackled by arm tackles, has nothing to do with how many carries he has. Guy just doesnt have it...period, he could have had 100 carries today, wouldnt have changed how slow he is to react. I know you're making stuff up now, because there were only one or two holes he could have hit in his six carries. One was about a shoestring away from being a 20+ yard gain. You're delusional if you think you're smart enough to count a guy out in six plays.
#98QBKiller
You guys are the worst analysts I've ever seen. You can't analyze a player with no experience when he gets only 6 carries. And if he would have broken that run for 30-40, you would be saying he's great! Or he was drafted in the 6th Round and released from the Browns for a reason. And if he would have broken that run for 30-40, you would be saying he's great! BUt he didn't... you csay that about prolly 60% of running plays ... "if he woulda just broke that tackle" ... and it wouldn't have been 30-40.... a first down? yes absolutely... but no more than 10-12 .. He deserves a little more time but he clearly was available to us this late for a reason... and we seen a little bit of it today

I did see EJ take him down with a slight touch of his legs, wheres his balance? it was a friggen arm tackle and you should be getting up to speed right about there, make a move, your 1 on 1... u dont let him touch you and fall down. I'm not supporting Davis! It's just dumb to come to a conclusion this quickly. You couldnt see how SLOW he was out there? or How much FASTER Keiland looked comparatively??? terrifNick21
Had the Redskins won, threads this dumb wouldn't be made. Hey, Chris Johnson only had 5 yards rushing today, I guess he's not the answer either?

You're speaking as if he's been on the team the whole year. I think you're jumping to conclusions. There's way too many reasons a person can come up with regarding why we didn't run the ball more. skins2daEND
Really? This is the thread you decide to create? You can't be serious!!! How can you really come to the conclusion that he has no vison or speed after watching this game? Especially when he had dodge RABACH and HICKS as well as the other teams defense before you make any kind of foward progress. I think he showed good vison if anything for not losing yards with no holes to run threw.

Hey, Chris Johnson only had 5 yards rushing today, I guess he's not the answer either? Again.. as mentioned before... Chris Johnson is as quick as a lightning bug hitting the holes... Davis was like molasses making his mind up. Just a lil different.

Spear
He looked soft, played small and made bad decisions picking lanes. He left yards out there. Not impressed so far.

GaryGreenMonk
none of our RB's are the answer.. I want a guy with breakaway speed. Banks is the only person on our team who can do that. Of course.. until we improve our craptastic O line.. it's hard to evaluate backs.

Dude, either the guy has it or he doesnt, and from he showed out there, he doesnt. RB is by FAR the easiest position to get ready for, its not like you need to learn how to run routes. Unless he somehow gets faster in making his decisions, and gets quicker to the hole, he wont last very long. When Keiland Williams makes u look slow, you have a problem. There's way too many reasons a person can come up with regarding why we didn't run the ball more. And he's one of them, if we had an RB that was worth a darn he'd be for sure getting more than 6 carries, the fact that they don't give him the ball tells you that they don't trust him with the ball. He didn't even play last week, and I didn't hear anyone make a peep. I guess people realized last week that there are players that still need time to develop in the NFL. ArmchairRedskin
Torain's first start only yielded 40 yards on 16 carries. 2.5 yard average. I'd say it's a little too soon to turn up the judge's card on Davis after 6 carries. He's got burst, Just not any lanes.
Sticksboi05
Barry Sanders would have had a hard time running behind that blocking. Give the guy a break. No he wouldn't. Look what he did with the 90's Lions.
ArmchairRedskin
Barry Sanders had bad games too. For instance in his first year he had a game where he had 5 attempts for 1 yard against the Steelers.
