skins1206
Which one do you guys like the best? I have a blackberry and thinking of getting the Droid Pro or Droid 2 (would like a hard keyboard). Any thoughts?

Tulane Skins Fan
I'm assuming you want it for work, based upon your current blackberry. Whatever you get, make sure it runs Android 2.2 or better. Its also called "froyo," and I don't know why. You want to be able to use your phone as a wifi hotspot, and anything less doesn't do it. Spartacus87
Good question. I'm currently debating between getting a Blackberry or a Droid. The BBM feature is a big point for me with the Blackberry, but Droid seems like it's really on the up.
The 12th Commandment
Just got a droid 2 today. It's gonna take me a year to figure the damn thing out. So far so good though, I got it to connect to my hands free bluetooth in the car ok. Amazing how much more powerful it is than my first computer. McD5
I almost bought the Evo, but couldn't resist the Samsung Epic. The Evo has some 5,000 colors on its screen. The Epic has 17,700. It's definitely the best looking phone made yet. Everyone that sees it wants to pick it up due to the screen.
Riggins77
I have the motorola droid 1 and love it. If I was going to upgrade I would upgrade to the Droid 2 (if that's the one with the pull-out keypad) or the Droid X which is crazy on what it can do but I think it has the touch screen keypad. If I'm not mistaken the Droid X can record movies in 1080p to connect to your player/tv, ****ing crazy.
Capt. Kaos
Just got off the phone with my provider. Motorola Defy (mine), Motorola Cliq (wife's), and a Samsung Gravity T (daughter's) are in the mail. I can't wait! Been 3 years since I got a new phone. asking
I have a Moto Droid. It depends on what you're looking for, who you have for your carrier and if you're open to switching carriers - do you need a phone with a physical keyboard or is touchscreen okay? Both? Droid Pro seems like a great phone, and oriented towards business users. Also, some of the newer phones for the different carriers are tied to Microsoft Bing search instead of Google. I was looking at upgrading a while ago, the Samsung Galaxy S phones all seemed pretty nice in particular. Make sure you try the different handsets out, see how it feels in your hand, etc.
Goaldeje
Got my Evo last week and it rocks, use it as a hotspot all the time and ditched my mobile card. Seriously cool. Internet browsing is a dream.

CPortJGibbs89
Sometimes it lags a bit when I am scrolling through the phone but I think that is to be expected occasionaly. Also sometimes when I unlock the phone the screen doesnt turn on, you can kinda see it turns on but the screen doesnt fully light up, then it will turn off and turn back on, this just started happening recently. Also when I go to certain websites it doesnt show any picture but I can pull up the same site on someone elses phone and it shows the pictures. Dont get me wrong I like the phone but certain stuff annoys me.

twenty-eight
Had a droid for about a year now....replaced my bb. If you can't get an iPhone you gotta go with a droid. Only thing I miss is BBM

My friend has the evo and he loves it too. for me it came down to slide out keyboard which I now regret. The swipe feature for texting makes the keyboard completely unnecessary
