SlinginSammy HOF '63
QB-Gannon RB-Portis RB-Ahman Green WR-L. Coles RB/WR-Eddie George RB/WR-Tim Brown TE-Cam Cleland K-David Akers Team D-Tampa defense players-Ray Lewis, Derrick Brooks and Urlacher I thought I stacked D players pretty good. Everyone else was so obsessed with adding depth at WRs that they neglected to fill out their defense.
bigchuck
Nice squad. SHould be competitive. Not sure about Tim Brown's number this year with the emergence of Porter.
SlinginSammy HOF '63
I was thinking of Porter. He's still a free agent in my league. Should I jump after him? another question. Zeroue plays Baltimore and T. Brown plays Tennessee. Which one should I start? Thanks
CaliforniaSkin
First of all definitely pick Porter. He's going to put up better numbers than brown again this year. Hard to say who to start without knowing your league's scoring, but unless your league gives points per reception I'd start Zeroue over Brown. Neither is likely to gain you all that many points but the odds are that Zeroue will edge out Brown by a little, even sharing carries with Bettis and against that D. redman
How does my keeper roster look? Injured: QB- Garcia; Ramsey; Leftwich RB- Henry; Dillon; J. Stewart; Dunn; Pittman WR- Burress; Boston; Pinkston; Kev. Johnson TE- Gonzalez; Franks PK- Akers Def- Tennessee And it's only a ten-team league so there's a lot of talent on other rosters. Yomar
tasty ... I have a feeling Dillon is going to have a career year with a defensive head coach in charge
redman
I think the key is Garcia. If he stays healthy, I'm in great shape. If not, I have to trust Ramsey - who no one thinks will be great this year - to lead me through the thicket. I just don't like having four important players - starting QB, WR & TE, and primary backup RB - injured before even a single game is played. Bang
My keeper squad.. QBs Garcia, Ramsey, Kordell RBs Portis, Onterrio Smith, Mike Anderson WRs L. Coles, Chad Johnson, Ashley Lelie, Ike Hilliard, Robert Fergusen TE Tony Gonzalez We have a cap that is pretty complicated in terms of 'contract structure' and numbers of years before a player becomes a free agent. I blew mine out and won the money 2 years ago, and i am rebuilding. If we draft a player as a rookie we can 'sign' him to a 4 year deal relatively cheap, So my priority has been on that the last couple drafts. I think it's building rather well. I am kind of light at RB, but the two I have could pay big dividends. The QB is heavy in the league because TD passes are worth 6.. I have 3 starters in a 14 team league, and there is nothing by way of starters available should an injury occur.. I should receive a call within a month or so and be able to gouge some poor sap pretty good for Kordell Stewart. Gonzo is my priciest player, roughly 10% of my cap. I am really hoping Ramsey kicks ass, cause I got him cheap ~Bang

Some years, i come away from the drafts disappointed, this isn't one of those years. I managed to secure two starting tailbacks for every single team I own while not sacrificing too much in the WR corps. While nothing is assured yet, this appears to be the best year ever to have forgotten about QB's until one has selected at least two starting tailbacks and two starting WR's. It worked well as a strategy in all of my leagues, now it's up to my players to perform.
