Skadden
http://www.sportingnews.com/nfl/feed/2010-09/nfl-power-poll Go figure. Despite beating the Cowboys, Eagles, and the Pack, they're all ahead of us. The Giants are too, though I can understand that. But how those other teams are ranked as high as they are and we're ranked correspondingly low is incredible.

Oldskool
http://espn.go.com/nfl/powerrankings/_/year/2010/week/6 ESPN has the team at 11, and the highest of the 4 NFCE teams (Eagles, Giants and Cowboys are 14th, 15th and 19th).
Brandon Lloyd Christmas
http://espn.go.com/nfl/powerrankings/_/year/2010/week/6ESPN has the team at 11, and the highest of the 4 NFCE teams (Eagles, Giants and Cowboys are 14th, 15th and 19th). that makes more sense. ugly wins are still wins, and winning 3 ugly games is still impressive. holding the packers, cowboys, and eagles to a combined 32 points is impressive no matter how you wanna spin it. ouvan59
None of our wins have been convincing...17th is about right It's not that we are ranked 17th. It's that we are ranked below teams that we beat. The Cowboys being ahead of us is particularly baffling. I can understand Green Bay still being ahead of us but not Philly. We beat them at their place.

Do you think the Eagles and the Cowboys (especially the Cowboys) should be ranked higher than us, when we beat both teams, one on the road and one team now being 1-3? This power ranking is utter garbage.
lowek723
So, Dallas' one win was more convincing and three losses weren't as bad as our two... ? No, I failed to correctly say what I was getting at.That someone who thinks the Redskins are anything then more then mid-pack is out of their mind. That is why 17th is the perfect rank for us. lowek I used to have doubts whether you had any clue what the hell you were talking about. Thanks for clearing it up for me  Please do explain? All im saying is the cowboys are horrible and we beat them due to decent defense and getting a TD on bone head play. The eagle win was having to deal with Kevin"checkdown" kolb..check the game film if you want more prove..And the pack win was a great come from behind win..but they had how many injured players..If we win this week vs the best qb in the game I will be on board with this team as a top 10..but without it I can easily put 10-15 teams that are better then us... zCommander
We are at the bottom of the league in defense. I am sure power ranking takes that into account as well.

Kolb was suppose to be their QB of the future. And the Pack, we outscored them 13-3 to end that game. once again... that list is complete bull****. but i don't care, just keep getting those Ws. I'm not gonna address all the points you raised but select one as being representative. "Checkdown" Kolb? Why do you think he was checking down? Because our corners and defensive scheme shut down one of the most dynamic offenses in the league. Please do explain? All im saying is the cowboys are horrible and we beat them due to decent defense and getting a TD on bone head play. The eagle win was having to deal with Kevin"checkdown" kolb..check the game film if you want more prove..And the pack win was a great come from behind win..but they had how many injured players..If we win this week vs the best qb in the game I will be on board with this team as a top 10..but without it I can easily put 10-15 teams that are better then us... Skadden
We are at the bottom of the league in defense. I am sure power ranking takes that into account as well. Bottom in yards, top ten in points allowed. And power polls take wins, strength of schedule, and head-to-head matchups as the most important criteria in ranking teams. Who do you think knocked those players out of those games? The Skins descent defense? We can play woulda, coulda, shoulda, all day long with every team we've won and lost against this year, so that arguments not gonna hold up. Last week I had to tell you to stop believing everything colin cowherd is telling you, and i'm gonna tell you again this week. You don't rank teams higher than teams that have beaten them, regardless of schedule, or injuries, or anything of the kind. Its the NFL, wins and losses are all that matter. Regardless of whether we win or lose this week, do yourself a favor and go look up the stats of all 32 teams on NFL.com, or somewhere, and make your own determination on who the best/worst teams are. You shouldn't have to wait for someone to tell you.

Wins are not Wins..Take a look at the MLB playoffs the reds beat garbage teams and made the playoffs...and what happened to them they got exposed as a horrible team by a good team in the phils..Granted wins will get you in the playoffs but that is where it ends.. @skadden There was game film on ESPN or another station that showed 4 plays where recievers had a wide open look in the soft part of the zone..2 of those kolb looked right at them and then checked it down...
