Skadden
http://www.nfl.com/stats/categorystats?tabSeq=0&statisticCategory=SACKS&conference=null&season=2010&seasonType=REG He's got four, and the top guy is Clay Mathews, who's got 8.5. (I really wonder if this guy isn't on the juice.) The second place guy has six, which is not way ahead of Rak, and given all the holding that opposing o-linemen have guilty of when trying to block Rak, his number would be way higher. (Yes, I know the others on the list could probably say the same thing, but I've seen some of the others and there's no comparison on how much holding doesn't get called on Rak.) aussieskin
is a statistic kept on holds against defenders, these could be classed as hurries or something like that
Captain James
sweet deal. until this thread i actually didn't know where he was at. thanks for the stat!
RenegadeTK
Nice... i think he will pick it up as the season goes on. I also think that he will get more holding calls for him once refs study tape. RAK is an absolute beast of a football player and was a home run of a pick for us. Dirt
No, watch the games. The others on the list CANNOT say the same about getting held that much. Not even close. It's sounds whiny, especially out of Redskin fans, but god damnit its true. It's just plain true. BLATANTLY true, like someone in the officiating department needs fired over it. For real. skns28
Nice job by Rak so far, especially during yesterday's win: 3 Tackles, 2 Sackes, 3 QB Hits and held about 10 times (rough guess), which will quiet a few of the skeptics for a while. DGREENHULK
I'd expect RAK to be top 3 by seasons end he is just that good and we know he has a 4 sack effort in him ....also after watching Clay Jr in person I doubt he is on the juice (never 100% sure but...) He is just very fast off the edge and can bend his body around blockers while still holding his speed and he and RAK have a motors that won't stop. Those guys is strong in the most important muscle THE HEART.Matthews and RAK are 2 future superstars and I'm glad we got one of them on our side.
