josh35b
Look at this, I went to order a single ticket for Sunday's game from my season ticket account. I could pay 25.00 and leave it at will call or I could pay 5.00 and get ticketfast. I chose ticketfast, but they are trying to charge me twice for this. What a ripoff. I'm probaly going to just grab a sinlge now in the parking lot as I walk to the gate. Mark The Homer
Interesting. Thanks for the info. Last year you could pick it up at will call for free. It's a shame they hiked it to $25 this year.
RFKFedEx
I guess they feel they can get away with it givin that the market is unusually tight this week. If you can't charge a higher price for the actual ticket, you mask the increased cost with home made fees. Good call walking away on that one Josh35b. rockfan7224
Its strange too, because I noticed the fees have changed since the ticket returns for the Houston game
RFKFedEx
Interesting that secondary market prices this week are on par with with a Dallas game. Yet there has been no TO marketing bonanza to push tix the way we had in week one.
Skins98Orakpo
The fees definitely suck! I got tickets for the Texans game, and if I wanted a green parking pass, it would only give me tickets in Section 211. If I searched without a parking pass I could get seats in Section 110. No way I could get the tickets in 110 and Green PP. So I called the ticket office and all they could do for me is sell me the parking pass over the phone and then buy the tickets in Section 110 online. So I got charged twice for the $25 fee. Yet there has been no TO marketing bonanza to push tix the way we had in week one. I wonder if that's due to all the local Green Bay Packer fans. If I recall, they've had a big presence at Skins home games in the past.
RFKFedEx
I wonder if that's due to all the local Green Bay Packer fans. If I recall, they've had a big presence at Skins home games in the past. The Packers have been here just one time since 1979. Can't imagine they'd outdraw the Cowboys in Washington, although I would rank them 3rd largest national draw behind Dallas and Pittsburgh. Something is up w/ the way the TO is controlling the supply this week. The sales patterns are inconsistant with weeks one and two.
Mark The Homer
Is the pdf fee new? I know there was a ticketfast fee for the Texans, but I don't remember anybody talking about a pdf fee. Here's another ticketmaster customer complaining about the pdf fee: http://aswas.typepad.com/hall_of_fame/2009/03/ticketmaster-convenience-charge.html. And here more people are complaining about the ticketfast fee: http://www.ticketsfromtheweb.com/information/ticketfast.html Seems all these fees, the convenience fee, the ticketfast fee, and the pdf fee are ticketmaster fees. And btw, ticketmaster was investigated not long ago for deceptive sales tactics: http://www.ftc.gov/opa/2010/02/ticketmaster.shtm ...which has nothing to do with fees, but has everything to do with their ethics. Rocky21
Someone in California just filed a Class Action lawsuit against Ticketmaster for deceptive order processing charges and UPS charges that are too expensive and it is being allowed to proceed by a judge. I hope they hang those ****s.

josh35b
My guess is one 5.00 fee is coming from ticketmaster and one from the Redskins. I don't know who is charging the 3.00 fee.
Mark The Homer
It looks to me like the team is resorting to stubhub to sell: http://www.stubhub.com/washington-redskins-tickets/redskins-vs-packers-fedex-field-957259/
josh35b
Yeah, definitely with all those 70.40 tickets. Plus with the stubhub will call window right at the stadium it kind of makes sense. I bet stubhub isn't charging $25 to leave tickets at will call.
