fuji869
Hard to believe that the last time the Redskins beat the Packers was 1988 in County Stadium in Milwaukie. The Magic Man Don Majkowski QBed the Pack and Doug Williams was the Skins QB. The Redskins won 20-17 because former Redskins Kicker Max Zendejas missed a game tying FG at the end. I remember Dexter Manley said after the game “I knew Max wasn’t going to let us down. Since then the Redskins have gone 0-4 to the Packers but they did go 13 years before the face Green Bay again in 2001. Even more shocking is the last win at home against the Packers was 31-28 win at RFK in 1979.
RANSKINS98
Thats gonna change this Sunday say it with me " I BELIEVE" ..... REDSKINS ALL DAY BABY EDIT: Another fact, I think we hold the highest combined total points on MNF against the packs it was like 95!?!?
TheDoyler23
We should've beaten them in 04, but James Thrash was called for illegal motion on the game tying TD. It was an awful call.
JimboDaMan
That would be because Clinton Portis's go-ahead TD late in the game the last time we hosted them was called back by a highly questionable motion penalty that had nothing to do with the play. <edit> I see TD23 beat me to it. Mr. Sinister
I don't even want to remember that crapfest at Lambeau back in '07, ugh. Favre tried so hard to help us win with all his errant passes, yet we couldn't do anything on offense. I think Cooley had like 100 receiving yards in that game... ChampSkinsFanatic
I can remember some Packers losses, the last one Santana lost for us. The ones before that we always had atleast 2 INTs off of Brett Favre but somehow still lose. I remember one year Portis caught a winning TD and we got screwed for illegal motion. RenegadeTK
That is crazy to think about. I'd say we are due for a victory.

Yeah I was at the game that sucked. Sean Taylor had prob. the best game of his career which was cool to see in person.
Mark The Homer
Here's an opportunity: The Redskins registering a completion of at least 56 yards in four straight games, which they have not done since 1950 (Weeks 1-4) against the Colts, Packers, Steelers and Giants, respectively. -from Redskins Public Relations
1972FAN
Brings back painful memories Redskin 47 Green bay 48 Monday night football 1983. On the edge of my seat the whole game.
ECU-ALUM
The thing I remember about that game was Sonny yelling when the kick sailed wide , "WE LOVE YOU MAX!" The game in 2004...at the end of the game when Favre and Brunell shook hands the first thing that Favre said to Brunell was, "That was a bull**** call." MarkB452
As a STH, I really like the way the scheduling works. We are guaranteed to see every NFC team at least once every 6 years at home and every AFC team once every 8 years. The fact that Favre came to town and played as many times with Atlanta as he did with Green Bay is crazy. We also rarely saw Marino too.

HouseBowlrz
Even more shocking is the last win at home against the Packers was 31-28 win at RFK in 1979. ... considering the next visit to Washington was 25 years later for them ... We also rarely saw Marino too. ... but more typical of playing an out of conference team. We had Miami up here in the 1984, 1990 and 1999 seasons; down there in 1987 and 1993; we didn't play Miami in 1996. How many times did we play Green Bay between those two home games? 1983, 1986, 1988, 2001, 2002. All up there ... cheers
