Warpath11
It's Wednesday and I haven't really seen or read anything for a few days. We really need him on Sunday! Today is the first practice of the work week so we'll find out today for sure (though Shanny said in his Monday presser that Williams would be back today)
Conn
I'm betting he'll be back. Which is good, we'll need him against Mathews.

JohnnyUtah
It's so wild how good this kid is, especially so early. I really look forward to ShannyAllen actually building a young, cohesive unit as an Oline.

I really look forward to ShannyAllen actually building a young, cohesive unit as an Oline. He's looking like a good one and certainly an upgrade over Heyer but lets not kid ourselves. He gave up sacks in both of his starts (although against elite pass rushers). I'm not trying to be negative I just want the fanbase to be patient and realistic. He was pretty raw coming out of college and should continue to get better with every game and every year he plays. I think we definitely have our LT position locked down if he can stay healthy. Shredmojo
I dont think Mcnabb got sacked at all during the cowboys? I could be wrong, I don't remember seeing a sack till 4th quarter of the Texans game
Always A Commander Never A Captain
I'm betting he'll be back. Which is good, we'll need him against Mathews. They move Matthews everywhere. With Trent at LT though, we won't need to keep Cooley in on as many passing plays. Cause Cooley blocks A LOT right now.

seancarter
We probably would've picked up Eric Berry. Oh well, doesnt matter, I'm glad we have Trent.
VaSkinsNut
Not sure who Lake Lewis is but this is from his twitter. Noteworthy news from #Redskins practice: OL Trent Williams moved better as he battles back from injury that has kept him out 2 games. 20 minutes ago via ÜberTwitter http://twitter.com/LakeLewis

SkinsCrushCowboys
we are better with him in the lineup...folks he has only a handful of NFL starts and will improve each week.....I hope he is ready to go, but if there is a doubt he will sit. Too much riding on him right now to risk a season ending injury.

BornToHail
Heyer is terrible. Williams, even slightly injured, is a huge improvement over Stephon "can't figure out the count" Heyer.
Last Fan Standing
They move Matthews everywhere. With Trent at LT though, we won't need to keep Cooley in on as many passing plays. Cause Cooley blocks A LOT right now. Agree 100%. The kid is something special and I was amazed that Shanahan was comfortable leaving Trent one-on-one with some of the best pass rushers in the league this early into his first season and equally impressed with how well he's played. The kid can hold his own and the more Cooley is able to get out and run routes, as opposed to being held back to help block, the better for our offense. Hope he's back to full strength on Sunday and ready to play.

bushwack
Hell yes! Hopefully this means Heyer won't come close to seeing any action this weekend. Matthews would completely dominate him and probably end up with another 3 sack game.

Dukes and Skins
Ware actually beat Williams pretty badly for a sack against cowboys, but Trent was solid the rest of the game in pass protection. He also allowed a sack in the texans game on the play in which he was injured. That play had a lot to do with the horrible call by the officiating by keeping the clock running and led to us running a hurryup play and Williams was just caught off guard and got hurt and led to the sack. I only have him responsible for 1 sack against Ware the one on Mario Williams was just one silly one. It's really something to see with how good this guy is, he's got pass protection down well and he's a mauler in the running game
