SMOSS89
http://donovanmcnabb.yardbarker.com/blog/donovanmcnabb/thank_you/3358107 I hope that everyone has an opportunity in their lifetime to experience what I did Sunday because words can hardly describe it. It’s no secret I went home again....and was greeted with an ovation that was overwhelming. Philadelphia - you gave me chills during that pregame introduction. I know many people didn’t know what to expect but I knew there were many fans I met over my 11 seasons who expressed nothing but positive feelings towards me. Previously, they may have been considered the silent majority but Sunday they made their feeling heard - loudly. I sincerely appreciate that support. I must also thank my Redskins’ teammates. While I tried to make this seem like a normal week against an NFC East opponent, I must admit, it was anything but normal. We stepped it up on offense, defense and special teams, and pulled out a victory even though I didn’t play my best game. I am very proud of all my friends, both old and new! SMOSS89
The trade is looking better each week, in my opinion. This man is such a powerful figure in an organization, and it's nice to have a huge positive influence in the locker room for once.
The 12th Commandment
I like Donovan and he's a good quarterback too. We're happy to have you Mr. McNabb.
ABSTRACT
Mcnabb, you're a hall of famer and have always been my favorite QB (yes, above Peyton) even though you thrived on a Eagles team. I've admired the way you played and carried yourself on and off the field. Hopefully you can get what you want here in Washington.
thebluefood
McNabb has been a solid quarterback for over a decade. I think he deserves a ring before he retires. I think the Redskins would be more than happy to accommodate
CrypticVillain
Man that was nice. Gave props to his fans and teammates and admitted that he was not at his best. Humility at it's finest.
HigSkin
On his every Tues show, he mentioned the team wasn't going to let him step out on the field along. A kind of a "got your back" gesture. He said it was great to get that support from the team. I think we finally have a much needed leader in this organization and players are responding. Xameil
I always liked McNabb except 2 sundays a year..Class Act...I hope the Redskins can win him that elusive Super Bowl while he's here
Morpheus'skins
I think we finally have a much needed leader in many aspects of this organization and players are responding. ^^^^ That... I will admit that I was never a fan of McNabb's (call it homerism). But his conduct both on and off the field since he has signed with the 'skins has definetely won me over. frostyj
I always liked McNabb except 2 sundays a year..Class Act...I hope the Redskins can win him that elusive Super Bowl while he's here ditto - I even rooted for him/them in the SB. Then again I root for the Skin's first-foremost and over all, if we don't make it then NFC Beast(minus the Pukes) and the NFC.

Frostx08
McNabb, I know you were emotional during that game man....I'm surprised you didn't break down to be honest. We're happy to have you and I know your best games are ahead. Cheers
Taylor 36
The man has too much class to be stuck in Philly for his ENTIRE career. He is too good for those fans and that organization. I just hope that we extend him soon and that we provide him with a team that will allow him to retire with at least one ring.
SWFLSkins
And yet there are some that claim a second was too much for this guy, go figure.
Phil Lesh
Class act ever since I started watching him in Syracuse. I am proud to have him as part of our storied organization. Every other player in a football uniform could learn something from Mr. McNabb.
TD Riggo
I was really NOT happy when we got McNabb! It was so hard to erase 11 years of "hatred" for the leader of the Iggles. But he has truly won me over .. I am now proud that Donovan is a Redskin!
