BeachSkin
If you have 13 minutes, it's worth your while to check out this story that was on "60 Minutes" last night. It does a great job of showing what's going down on the Pakistani border. It's wild ... they got ambushed and killed 15 Taliban with the cameras rolling. It will make your heart explode. http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2010/09/24/60minutes/main6897034.shtml

Ellis
Yes, 60 Minutes was great last night. My fiance is quite liberal and the story on the Pakistan border changed her opinion on a few things.

Dan T.
From the accompanying article: "They're all used to dealing with injuries at the outpost. Forty out of [Capt. John] Hintz's 88 soldiers have been awarded Purple Hearts for wounds received in combat. The 40-year-old commander from Iowa has received three Purple Hearts himself." SkinsHokieFan
That is one of the harshest places on earth, surrounded by some of the poorest and least educated people on earth. Normal Pakistani's can no longer go to Peshewar, much less the border area like they could a generation ago
