EmirOfShmo
Damn! So many images of Wes setting picks and throwing outlet passes during that Championship year. Snatching rebounds from taller, more athletic players. Quiet leader who spoke through his play. Sad day for DC sports. Thanks for all those memories Mr. Unseld. TradeTheBeal!
Wes Unseld was probably my first sports hero. One of the smartest, toughest, strongest dudes to ever lace em up. RIP.
Renegade7
If NBC Sports Washington doesn't show 70s Bullets championship runs after this, they should just take themselves off the air.

Sticksboi05
Sad to hear about Unseld. King of the outlet pass. Someone many say "you had to be there" to understand because the stats won't show it.

@DCGoldPants
Rename this thread after Wes. A lot of us were too young or not born when Wes was playing and only remember his time in the front office or coaching. He's basically the Sammy Baugh of the org.

@DCGoldPants
Those Bullets Uniforms are amazing. I'd recreate them with Washington and The District" on the chest. 1

CRobi21
If there was ever a time to go back to the Bullets name, it'd be in honor and memory of this Bullets legend. RIP 2

Hersh
Is John Wall gonna play when the NBA restarts?
@DCGoldPants
1 hour ago, Hersh said: Is John Wall gonna play when the NBA restarts? No. Smart move too. This like the NHL plan has too many "what ifs". For Wall, he needs to continue his rehab program, not get one the court with a bunch of guys who are trying to ramp up their bodies that will likely create a handful of new injuries before a shorter offseason.
