MonkFan8
Let Utah play their game all night with little adjustment, too bad. Still not sure of this team come playoff time, up the defensive pressure and our bigs wilt and our guards start making unforced errors.

Utah is just a real tough matchup.

Skin'emAlive
Outside of some of the egregious offensive fouls, I really light Utah's screen game. They set screens, and the trail the ball handler with the screener effectively sealing out the man completely.  Another obvious foul call missed... These refs man. Edited April 1, 2017 by Skin'emAlive

Might get a few fouls called on them, but you know the refs aren't going to call it every time down the floor. Good strategy.

TradeTheBeal!
Frankly...the Jazz are better than us.  Completely dominant in the front court and if they can get the refs to let em play, we simply cannot matchup physically.  Thrown in the fact that Hayward is extra clutch and this Jazz squad will beat us 7 out of 10 times.  Make note of that for gambling purposes next year.  It's money in the bank,   Edit:  Nice rim protection, Hammer.  Very intimidating! Going Commando
Utah fans cheering Morris getting hurt? NBA officials make the game unwatchable. Â They ****ing gave Utah this game. Â Utah -3 was the line. Â They made themselves some money tonight.
Warhead36
Stars are supposed to get the benefit of the doubt. You wanna give Gobert the benefit, fine. But that means Wall should too. This time next year I expect Beal to get more love from the refs as well. Â Utah is a tough matchup. We aren't beating them with the type of officiating we saw tonight. They flat out missed easy foul calls. But we also couldn't keep Shelvin effing Mack from beating us off the dribble and our guys were clearly intimidated by Gobert. Â Game wasn't really in doubt at any point, to my eyes. Â Still poorly officiated...but you can't expect calls when you're chirpy and laying nut-punches on guys. Destino
What we saw in this game is the weakness of an offense dependent on dribble penetration and two man action. The Jazz can eat up guards at the rim and pick n roll offenses. Without that the Wizards have an insanely hard time creating open shots on offense. They don't run enough off ball action to generate shots all over the floor and so all game long, despite having a ton of shooters on the roster, they struggled to get good shots up.

TheItalianStallion
Gortat's done. Mahinmi or Smith should be starting. It might not even be a funk at this point, it may be that all those minutes early on have worn him down and he needs the offseason to regain his form.
Going Commando
The refs are ****ing crooked.  What can you do? NBA players and fans deserve better than the seeping asshole that is NBA officiating.  This is a league of the best basketball talent in the world and it's officiated by absolute scum.  The NBA will never be more than a pro-wrestling wannabe clown show compared to the MLB and NFL until it gets rid of every god damn one of these refs and replaces them with refs who aren't on the ****ing take.
