Ball Security
Pretty sweet sequence late in a close game. Up 2, KCP forces a tough jumper by Grant. Kuzma rebounds, outlets to KCP who goes hard for a layup. Up 4. Cunningham drives to the hoop, gets swatted by Kuzma. Neto leads the break and lobs an alley to Bryant for a one-handed oop. Commander -JB-
Bradley Beal says he is no rush to make a decision on his future but acknowledged he is leaning toward re-signing with the Washington Wizards this offseason. "It's fair," Beal told reporters in Washington on Thursday when asked whether he is leaning toward staying with the Wizards. "It's fair." Beal is eligible to sign a five-year, $246 million deal with the Wizards if he declines his player option of $36.4 million for 2022-23. Din started today because Luka was out, and he had 34 for us back in October, so it's not like he never did it for us or didn't prove he was capable of it. Jus glad he's gone, I was done. Hersh
So far it appears that the Mavs coaching staff/organization is doing a much better job of maximizing Din's talents. Certainly sets the bar for KP and what will be considered success here.

He's been great the last 5 and so far in 7 games he's averaging 17.6 and 5 assists per game while shooting 56% from the field and 41% from three. Dude is helping the Mavs win. Maybe he keeps it up, maybe not, but so far it looks positive for the Mavs.
Destino
Watching KPs first game and this offense is hot garbage. Easy to see why the guards struggle, there’s no where near enough screens or guys rolling to the rim. Defense can just sit and wait for guards that put their heads down. They got Rui just standing at the three line with nothing schematically getting him the ball in position to make a play closer to the rim. Just a bunch of dribble handoffs at the three line. How much of this is bad offense vs PGs that can't run or setup an offense?off-season... John Wall will be a free agent this offseason... Got to adjust the offense to match personnel. Maybe if CP3 was running it he could make it work without pick n rolls, but we don’t have those kinds of players. So you got to help them out and give them an easier drive or dish decision.

Destino
If KP could stay healthy they’d never have traded him. Guy is a difference maker on both ends and is a threat from everywhere. im sure he’s glad to be free of Luka, who iced him out constantly. 3

@DCGoldPants
Seeing Beal post-game hanging behind Porzingis was kind of cringe. Yeah, staying to give you a high five. Not get on TV now that i'm probably accepting that deal that will criple the team.

Hersh
For whatever reason Din is a better fit in Dallas. Probably blame to go around to everyone involved. Lack of a winning culture, lack of leadership and bad mix of players all a problem, but this really goes back to the GM. Early on a bunch of fans said Din should come off the bench instead but there really was no alternative for Wes given the guard rotation. Minutes with so many forwards was always going to be an issue and sure enough it happened quick. At the end of the day, the GM did not give this team a good opportunity to succeed.
