I don't think we should go after Matt if he gets cut. He is not an NFL caliber QB IMO. One of the major things he lacks is leadership and accountability. This is something I noticed all the way back to after they loss to Vince Young and his Texas Longhorns. He was making excuses in the press conference instead of showing accountability for the loss.

This type of mentality seems to be carrying over into his pro situation because after all of this time, he still says things like he doesn't understand why he is being considered for replacement.

He's being cut for a reason. That should serve as your answer.

Q. What do these NFL quarterbacks have in common?

Jake Delhomme. Jack Kemp. Trent Green. Kurt Warner. Johnny Unitas.

A. All were cut by an NFL team early in their careers.

Leinhart is a bust! He was drafted 3 years ago in the first round and couldn't beat anyone out to win the starting job.

Most USC QBs, other than Carlson Palmers in recent times, haven't done jack in the NFL.

Those quarterbacks also were picked up by teams that had more talent around them, too. It would be a WIDE stretch to compare Leinart to any of the quarterbacks you mentioned.

Totally irrelevant to my point, which was to refute your post that the act of cutting a quarterback by a team is proof that he is not worthy.
