sjinhan
Dude look at how Leinart is handling himself in Arizona... If Leinart can handle little QB controversy and media scrutiny.. he has NO CHANCE of being successful here in DC.
Audible_Red40
I think you might be onto something. If he works out on his own for a whole year to master the art of throwing with his right arm and becomes half decent. Then maybe invite him to camp next year. Skins98Orakpo
Leinart looks like a bust in the NFL. Definitely do not want him on the Redskins.

renaissance
I'm convinced that there's some ES bot whose sole purpose is to start threads like this when players are/are likely to be cut from other teams.
ATLredskin
The only QB I want that I think we can realistically get is Tyler Thigpen. He can be our Matt Schaub.
LeftCoast Skinz FAN
Ok, so with 4 QBS on the roster already you want the Skins to sign a never-was QB so we have 5 QBs on the roster? Am I understanding you right? Is this a joke..... :logo:

Gibbs Hog Heaven
I NEVER thought I'd say this in polite company, but "HELL NO WE SHOULDN'T! I'd of rather of kept Campbell." Damn you OP. Damn you to Texas and a life of sin for making me say that. Hail.
stwasm
If the Cards cut Matt Leinart should we pick him up? I don't think it would hurt. We could probably salvage his career. Thoughts? He's being cut for a reason. That should serve as your answer.

MdMack21
I don't think we should go after Matt if he gets cut. He is not an NFL caliber QB IMO. One of the major things he lacks is leadership and accountability. This is something I noticed all the way back to after they loss to Vince Young and his Texas Longhorns. He was making excuses in the press conference instead of showing accountability for the loss. This type of mentality seems to be carrying over into his pro situation because after all of this time, he still says things like he doesn't understand why he is being considered for replacement. Jack Kemp. Trent Green. Kurt Warner. Johnny Unitas. A. All were cut by an NFL team early in their careers.
justice98
I always thought he was fraudulent, even coming out of college. He's as good a pro as he's going to be. Probably not a bad backup though.

mi6
Leinhart is a bust! He was drafted 3 years ago in the first round and couldn't beat anyone out to win the starting job. Most USC QBs, other than Carlson Palmers in recent times, haven't done jack in the NFL.
Grimm
No, he has not shown anything that compares to a NFL QB, I would rather stick with Rex.

RWJ
When the dust settles after the cuts Saturday, I think we will have McNabb, Grossman and Beck as our QBs. Just a hunch.

Totally irrelevant to my point, which was to refute your post that the act of cutting a quarterback by a team is proof that he is not worthy.
