Greg Camarillo-WR- Dolphins Aug. 25 - 12:48 pm et

The Miami Herald's Jeff Darlington reports the Dolphins have traded Greg Camarillo to the Vikings.

There's no word yet on the compensation, but Camarillo has confirmed the report himself. He had fallen to fourth on the depth chart in Miami, and there was even speculation that he'd be left off the final roster. With Percy Harvin moving outside to make up for the loss of Sidney Rice, Camarillo could see time as the No. 3 receiver. He'll have to beat out Greg Lewis to do so.

I think for it's CB Benny Sapp.

Benny Sapp-DB-Dolphins Aug. 25 - 1:29 pm et

Dolphins acquired CB Benny Sapp from the Vikings in exchange for WR Greg Camarillo.

Sapp had fallen behind Asher Allen in the race for the nickel back job, and he was due to earn $1.4 million as the Vikings' No. 5 corner. He doesn't offer much more than experience and depth for a young Dolphins secondary

Anthony Armstrong is a better bet at WR than Camarillo.

Some folks should start trusting what Shanahan sees over 5 months as opposed to what Steve Czaban or Andy Pollin say about the players in 5 minutes on the radio.

Just because a guy was cut from another team in the past doesn't mean anything.

Keenan McCardell was a #12 pick by the Redskins in 1991 and was released in 1992. He went on to play 15 years in the NFL.
