jfr3ek
thats GREAT news!! No need to risk playing McNabb and lose him for the year. I'd rather him be fresh and ready to go come Sept. 12. I REALLY REALLY REALLY want that WIN more than any other we have on our schedule. Maybe play McNabb a quarter against Arizona so he wont lose time. We don't wanna risk season ending injuries. GreenRiggins
I know McNabb will be able to starting game 1. I'm just concerned that he will lose some mobility against some of the better pass rushing teams that we will face early.

Peregrine
Well, so much for judging out offense before the start of the season :-( The offense needs time to gel, and Rex Grossman isn't going to help that, at all...
RichmondRedskin88
Would you rather see McNabb against the Jets in preseason or see him against Dallas in the 1st game of the season. I don't know about you guys but I don't want to risk losing McNabb in preseason. There's no point.
DCranon21
Good, Sept. 12th is right around the corner. No telling what blitzes Ryan will draw up for the 1st team.
Larry Brown #43
I believe I read that McNabb has missed an average of 3 games per year for the last 8 years, so anyone expecting 16 games out of him will most likely be disappointed. I agree that we should keep him in a glass case until the Dallas game. I was terrified when I saw him re-enter the Ravens game after he was already limping. darrell1106
Just a thought but what if McNabb doesn't play until Dallas week 1 and then sucks or gets injured for the season? Does that make it better since it's regular season vs. pre-seaon? Just curious!

RFK Lives
Agree with most statements that the offense needs the work. I guess we can still look for the O - Line progress and probably get a long look at the running game. I was really circling this game to see where McNabb and the offense was but now, we can just hope that he shakes the rust off quickly under the Sunday Night Lights week 1. I seriously doubt we see him against the Cards but maybe 1-2 series would be prudent now.
Warhead36
It looked like McNabb had good command of the offense vs. Baltimore. Other than the interception and missing Armstrong open deep(I think those were just misfires/bad throws, not him not knowing the offense, and that happens to QBs all the time)he was on point for the most part. It would be nice to have our receivers get used to McNabb hitting them with hard passes in the hands though. Lets see if our OL and overall pass protection improves against a nasty Jets pass rush this week. It'll also be a good game to practice and evaluate our running game. I would prefer that he rest up and get ready for practice next week, leading up to week 1. The game against the Cards means nothing for the Vets, but everything for the players on the bubble. Checmate101
Yeah, rather have Mcnabb for that dallas game, then a preseason game...but then again, he does need gametime with his WR

Does that make it better since it's regular season vs. pre-seaon?Just curious! Of course it does! The games count! If he gets hurt during the season then at least he got hurt in a game that mattered. If you hopped in your car and drove to the store for absolutely no reason and got in an accident you'd be kicking yourself more than if you were driving to the store to pick up food for your family. One action you had to do the other you didnt. BTW McNabb wont suck! I can guarantee that!
