Dead Money
Wild Wings on Military cutoff is cool but the wait staff don't usually appreciate you there for 4 hours at a table unless especially early in the season when there are still alot of tourists around. The manager was a skins fan last I was there though. Fibber McGees has a good football crowd (my favorite in town) Copper Penny is a Philthy fan bar, Diamonds always seemed to have a lot of Cowboy fans, Bdubs is a good spot for students, fox and hound is OK, Ale house wasnt really much when I spent most of my time there. Lots of Pitt and Ohio fans in the area... there's even a Browns fan club with over a hundred members that you'll see out. Havent spent much time in ILM over the past three football seasons, but hope to again soon! Hail.
MarkB452
BW3 was Buffalo Wild Wings and Weck. Now just called Buffalo Wild Wings...same place...slightly different name. http://www.buffalowildwings.com/?utm_source=google&utm_medium=cpc&utm_content=april+coupon+search+and+jumbotron&utm_campaign&utm_term=buffalo+wings&gclid=COT56ZCDwqMCFeQD5QodpESTYw#/
danthemann71
When I went to UNCW there were a few Skins fans anywhere you went, but the biggest concentration of them seemed to be at Fibber McGee's out towards the beach.....that place was loaded with fans every weekend. Jess_in_beachtown_nc
Buffalo Wild Wings... That place is going to be CROWDED. we used to play cornhole in the parking lot from 11am - noon. They opened their doors at noon. if you didnt' get there early enough you wouldn't get a seat. there's one in Monkey Junction and one near the market street walmart. Copper penny - while their food is PHENOMINAL (gotta try the chicken salad sandwich with asian slaw and their french fries) is a complete and total Philly Bar. Do not go in on a sunday during football season. Period. There's a new (Last year or so) place called the Ale House that also seems to be getting popular... but again.. it's a massive amount of people the closer you are to campus. Your best bet is to start frequenting a smaller bar either downtown or at one of the beaches. Tip well so they remember you and they will start saving a seat for you with a T.V. I moved up to Virginia Beach last October but I had a little place in Carolina Beach (The Shuckin Shack)where I knew the owner and I always had a T.V. and a chair - plus I'd rather sip on a good bloody mary and down some oysters instead of frozen chicken wings... Good Luck!
Disco Dave
Well I have been to all the bars listed here and they all pretty much suck to go to. Most of them will have the game playing but you will have very little to no volume for your game. That means you can watch it but you won't hear it. These include BBW's, Fox & Hound) The worst is Diamonds(tons of Cowboy fans). Most of the bars are way over crowded with a bunch of bandwagon fans that will go out of there way to talk **** to a Redskins fan. Hope you find one you like. HTTR!!! erock353
Its a drive from Wilmington but in Greenville, Skins nation meets at Tiebreakers. We are usually the largest group of fans there and almost always get the game on the projector screen and have pretty much have our own section. Why haven't I seen this in the Daily Reflector? Have to check it out. I'll be the guy in the 'Skins gear.
