Elessar78
France hve no identty for as good a collection of talent as they have. Spain wanted to play possession. Portugal we’re willing to defend and counter. France just seem like they don’t have a plan. 1

Quite hard to have a plan with an average HC and absolutely no leader on the field Can't wait for the game vs Peru. Unfortunately I'll be traveling this day. Elessar78
I rewatched Spain last night. Those guys had a plan. They attacked up the left flank 95% of the time. Probably to keep any counter opposite of CR7’s side. After Halftime Portugal moved Ronaldo’s defensive starting position more centrally and Spain flipped it and attacked 80% on the right flank. portugal defensively were decent too. First was a close penalty call. Second was a long ball (the only long ball Spain played all night) and Costa won a 1v6. Then scored from a sweet set piece. Overall they contained the Spain attack as best as anyone could. Spain didn’t give much away in open play either.

FFF is a mafia run by Le Graet (former socialist mayor of Guingamp FC) his lovely darling is Deschamps. He was the one who voted to extend Domenech after the WC 2006 final and Euro 2008 debacles, on to Knysna. He was the one who heavily supported Blatter ! On planet football we are the Number one morons, light years ahead of the others. Last but not least, as we are sometimes arrogants we think we can do it by ourselves, no need to inject foreign knowledge. Just like the America's cup, the greatest number of contenders use or raid (NZL) foreign countries to get smarter, we don't, and we keep on losing. Coubertin didn't help us : "The most important thing in the Olympic Games is not to win but to take part, just as the most important thing in life is not the triumph but the struggle. The essential thing is not to have conquered but to have fought well." --->losers Edited June 16, 2018 by FrFan

Their best player, Guerrero, was suspended for steroids use, a cfew weeks before the WC the decision was overuled by the Court of Arbitration for Sport Edit: Umtiti on the presser saying "I made a mistake, things like that happen", but basically no big deal we won, on to the next game Things like that happen in the WC ?! NO, since you're playing for Barca and France things like that mustn't happen during the WC especially vs Australia which is not top ranked. You little arrogant prick. abdcskins
I just checked the FIFA rankings, and USA is ranked 25th. That's a joke. We shouldn't be any higher than 50. 1
ixcuincle
Seeing FOX showing these watch parties around the world makes me very upset that the US didn't make it. Can you imagine those damn watch parties in DC? Not a Caps watch party level but still. 2 hours ago, abdcskins said: I just checked the FIFA rankings, and USA is ranked 25th. That's a joke. FIFA is a big joke, just like when they named Messi best player of the previous WC, and Griezmann player of the game yesterday The POG was benched by his coach. He cared more about making a silly disrespectful video about where he's gonna play next year, therefore rubbing the feelings of Athletico's fans. The level of stupidity displayed by some players on this team will never cease to amaze me ! Problem is that the good guys like Kante, Matuidi, Giroud, Lloris, Pavard (rookie), Hernandez (rookie) have no leadership/authority on those pricks. AsburySkinsFan
Landon Donovan is limping out the remainder of his career in a Mexican Narco league and now wants us to cheer for one of our nation's biggest soccer rivals who as it stands helped eliminate us from World Cup contention? Landon, yes you were America's first soccer star, but you've never been a leading voice in American soccer, you wouldn't even make the National squad today...please go away.

He was wavering on the edge when Klinsmann cut him, now he's gone full dotard, and his attempt at relevancy is encouraging US fans to support one of our most heated rivals in an ad paid for by a bank that defrauded its clients. Warhead36
This is tough for me because my Polish roots make me hate Germany, but yeah I'm American first, F Mexico. With that said, they are playing brilliantly today. Great game so far though, I can't see this finishing 1-1.
