Movies you like and nobody else does...

I liked Outside Providence as well. Not a great movie, but somehow it kept my interest. The Mexican was entertaining.

A movie I thought was excellent, but bombed was Michael Collins. It had Liam Neeson and Julia Roberts, but went completely unnoticed. (And for the record, I'm not of Irish descent, either.)

codeorama wanted me to simply mention on his behalf that any of his gay porn favorites would apply here. ;)

As for me:

Goonies

Electraglide in Blue

The People Under the Stairs (Hilarious "horror")

Buckaroo Bonzai

Black Moon Rising

I'll think of more.

Damn...I forgot about Goonies, Buckaroo Banzai, and BT in LC. Good three movies there!

well maybe like after 30 mins of the movie if i didnt start making fun of this crappy movie by sayign this is a freaking comic book... pointing out all these stuff like watch this dude is the evil mad doctor in a wheel chair and such then i guess i would think the movie was better but from the fact that i was mocking the movie then i found out that my mock of the movie was really in fact the real thing i thought it was peice of crap

Uh, I have to admit, I didn't like Goonies at all. But I generally hate nearly all "cute" movies ie Home Alone, etc.

I thought Heartbreakers was pretty dang funny, but I may be biased because J.L. Hewitt looked so friggin' HOT in it. It was like a female version of Dirty Rotten Scoundrels (a Classic).

I like some "Chick" movies. Hey, I admit it, I dig a lot of "nerdy" foreign films (I also hate a lot of them as well).

The Whole Nine Yards was a funny movie!! There's a sequel coming out "The Whole Ten Yards," which looks like it might be good.

A comedy that most people I know hated, but I loved was Airheads. Chris Farley, Adam Sandler, Steve Busheimi (sp?), and some other people I can't remember. I need to go rent it, I need a good laugh tonight. :applause:

Have to add another list.

The Mad Max series. My wife and I just watched the first one and she told me there is no way she wants to watch the others.

How the hell can you not like Mad Max? Well at least she is a Skins fan so I better keep her:laugh:

RoboCop 2

Resident Evil

Point of No Return

Striptease

Raw Deal -- Arnie mowing people down to "Satisfaction" by the Stones is sheer genius

Maximum Overdrive -- goofy, ultra-violent fun

Howard the Duck -- exquisitely, confoundingly bad

Glenn X,

Do you know if they are making a Resident Evil 2? The way the first one ended, it seemed like they were setting the table for a sequel. If they do make another one, I'd be the first in line to see it. It was a great movie, I can't believe I forgot to mention it.
