Hitman21ST
Saw that when I got home from work. That's big time. Is that an injury that's likely to happen again after it's done once then fully rehabbed?
Johns Bass
I think Carter may go to Denver for a 4th or 5th round pick if Washington and Denver were to make a trade. Considering both Shannan and Portis - Denver making a trade with the 'Skins might happen right after the the one Washington makes with Dallas... braindx
Is that an injury that's likely to happen again after it's done once then fully rehabbed? Yes. Any type of strain or tearing of muscles (heck, ANY type of injury) makes the area more vulnerable to reinjury. This is especially so with muscular injuries though because there's also injury to neuromuscular input as well as sarcomeric and fascia damage. If you want examples of reinjury see the 3253456834509 threads on hamstring strains... with the same players getting them every year. Proper strength and condition should get you back, but after a torn muscle it's unlikely that you'll ever get back to 100% again (see examples such as Randy Thomas and his torn triceps -- never got even close to his former ability).
