jfriedenthal
I am a bit slow todayWho is TK referring to? JaMarcus Russell. That would bring questions to this team if we added him.
Santana_Fan
I'll take Colt hands down! I might go with Jamarcus, since he actually has some regular season starts. Let me stop, I don't know who I'd choose honestly. Could you imagine the things that would be said, if Jamarcus beat out Colt for a roster spot though? 1972FAN
Bottom line is ever since McNabb has come here nobody has been talking about any other Qb's on the team. So not a big loss even though I like Colt will see if Beck can take the #2 position from Rex, who I never cared for.
Redskins Anonymous
Too bad a lot of people are being jerks here. I liked Colt but if this is what's best than it is what it is. I really liked his funky quarterback name. ya we're being jerks for coming onto a board dedicated to the Redskins and rooting that the best QB starts only to be called haters and morons by Hawaii fans who refuse to listen to logic and reason. Yup, we're the jerks.
Clutch03
I'm laughing at the folks that would argue he should start over Campbell. This guy couldn't even beat out Bartell!! Yes I will repeat ... Bartell! With that said, I always liked his personality. He may be one of the those guys that "gets it" later on in his career. Maybe a Trent Green? MartinC
*cough* I need a hook up with some syrup. *cough* Why in the world would we have any interest in JaMarcus Russell? I really hope any tip you have had is wrong.
Madison Redskin
Wow, he didn't even make it through the first preseason game? Ouch. Maybe there wasn't a conspiracy to keep Colt buried on the depth chart. I feel bad for him; not so much for his Cult.
RandyHolt
i suspect Zorn ruined his confidence via tweaking his mechanics and everything else, just like he did to Jason. Bend your knees, raise your elbow, duck the medicine ball, dont think, and just throw the slant to Moss even though he will get creamed by the MLB and probably result in an INT. MGutta
Two things: JaMarcus Russell--Shanahan played against him in the division. We already saw him bring in LJ and kick the tires on Sproles/VJax, why not JaMarcus? If he saw something he liked, then sure. He was awful and I'm not denying that, but there is skill there. Look back to LSU. He needs a drill sergeant and we have one. Colt Brennan--Please tell me the Cult of Colt will not be replaced by this; arguing throughout the season of WHY Colt was cut. Hopefully we can ban Colt threads from here on out?
Cooley's Mullet
Awesome! makes my day... maybe we will actually have an extra NFL player on the roster this season instead of the WACness...

Or it could just be that he sucked donkey nuts. I'm betting it was a combination of both with the latter being the number one reason...
authentic
ya we're being jerks for coming onto a board dedicated to the Redskins and rooting that the best QB starts only to be called haters and morons by Hawaii fans who refuse to listen to logic and reason. Yup, we're the jerks. Colt Brennan stopped to speak to fans posted up outside Redskins Park. According to people there, he appeared to be very upset. He told them that he is off the team. I willing to bet the "Fans" that he was crying to were some of the "COC" contingent.
hoosandskinsMUSTwin
According to all reports Cult was clearly behind the other quarterbacks, even Bartel. Sorry cultists, I liked him too, but this is a smart football move. Beck has a lot more NFL upside than Brennan ever had.

Look back to LSU. He needs a drill sergeant and we have one. He has potential, not skill. You need work ethic to turn potential into skill. Lack of work ethic couple with drug problems is a recipe for disaster. You know who else was like that? Charles Rogers.

As for Jamarcus, that's really funny, he and Haynesworth both have alot in common overweight, well maybe not now for AH now overpaid and haven't lived up to their hype. Don't need JR
brianm23
Why in the world would we have any interest in JaMarcus Russell? I really hope any tip you have had is wrong. This was a tip that was prior to his arrest for purple drank charges. I think he said that something along the lines of it hopefully ending any interest they had in him. Personally, we already have one underachiever (Albert) on the team with no work ethic. No need to bring in a second one.
