CliffBattles
^^I've been thinking a lot about this since they announced the program. I think #1 is going to be Jerry Rice. He's the undisputed greatest at one of the three flashiest positions (QB and RB being the other two.) Is Brown the undisputed greatest RB of all time? Is Montana the undisputed greatest QB of all time? I think they are the greatest but it's clearly not undisputed. Rice set records that possibly will never be broken (or might if they go to 18 games.) Rice is Jordan-esque. I wouldn't be shocked to see Brown at #1 though. Though I heard some interview with dude from NFL Films and he said Walter Payton is the greatest all-around RB of all time. Baugh or Montana wouldn't be a shock either. The thing about Jim Brown, is that he may be the only player from that era, if you had a time machine back then and put in the NFL right now, with today's bigger/faster/stronger players....could still play....and still be good. RySkins
I doubt any Skin other than Baugh is left to be named, but its a joke! Ken Houston is arguably the best safety in the history of the league. How is he not on this list? I guess its possible he is still to be named since he was an all pro like 10 seasons in a row. And Charlie Taylor? I don't know anybody that remembers that era that would take Paul Warfield over Taylor! Most say it wasn't even close, and many would argue that he was the best receiver ever at the time of his retirement.
Boss_Hogg
NFL Network unveiled numbers 29-20 last night, still no more redskin players. In fact those bums put Tom Brady ahead of John Elway and Dan Marino. So far we only have Darrell Green and he is ranked at 78...there are a ton of Cowboys on the list. NFL Network is awful. thebluefood
Baugh just has to be in the top ten. He was probably the best all around player, especially of the pre-Super Bowl era.
Rocky21
That list is a joke. NFL Films is slipping. Michael ****in' Irvin? Gimme a break!
Boss_Hogg
NFL Network loves the Cowturds, plus Goodell must have "fancy" for the Cheatriots.
Dracula
First of all, the list was voted on by players, coaches, etc... Second of all, yes there was football played before you watched it.
artmonkforHOF
Wonder if Devin Thomas will make the list? No, but he has the potential to make the list if someone would make him a starter like he deserves. For those who can't tell, that is what is called sarcasm. Rocky21
Just noticed Randy White is the 62nd greatest player in NFL history. I'm not really sure that is accurate. http://top100.nfl.com/
megared
Maybe this is a jaded homer perspective, but I'd have DG higher than Rod Woodson. Definitely homer talk. I'd say Woodson should be higher on the list than Deion. He did everything Deion did, without the flash. Green is right where he should be...behind Lott, NightTrain, Deion, Woodson, Mel Blount, Willie Brown and Herb Adderly. 8th Best DB of all time is not a slight by any means... MWCREDSKINS
Darrell Green is not 41 players behind Deion, what are these guys looking at? Also if Sid Luckman is on there, Sammy Baugh should be

Also if Sid Luckman is on there, Sammy Baugh should be Sammy Baugh most definately should not be on the list as it is only showing the rankings from 21-100. He'll be on the final list but you're going to have to wait for the last episode.
Rocky21
Darrell Green is not 41 players behind Deion, what are these guys looking at?Everyone has collective amnesia about PeeOn. Yes he was a great kick returner but his coverage skills are WAY overrated. Plus he hardly ever did the tackling thing, when last time I checked, is important when you play defense. He is the highest ranked player on NFL Films list who is not in the Hall of Fame, although he has been eligible for years. Their bias is embarrassing.
Darkstarr
Sammy B. is the only skin that deserves to be in the top 20. To me to be in the top 20 you either had to change the game or have such an impact your name is in the conversation as the best ever. Nobody besides Sammy B. on the skins comes close. Look at the names you are going to see, they are all time greats who's records stood for a very long time or they just flat out dominated. As much as I respected D. Green, just look at what the Night Train did in his time. He still holds the record for most picks in a season!!! He did it in whaty 12 games not 16. As far as my top 10. 1. J. Brown google what he did with 8 in the box to stop him nuff said. 2. D. Hudson father of the modern route tree and his records stood the test of time. Again if you do not know him look up what he did in 10-12 game seasons. 3. S. Baugh 4. D. Butkus 5. J. Rice 6. O. Graham if you judge qb's by championships he will never be touched 7. D. Jones father of the sack 8. L. Taylor changed the way the game is played. 9. J. Unitas 10. B. Sanders Never will be another like him.

Maybe they ranked him a little too high in respect to all of the other players, but they got the order of the DBs right.
Rocky21
Mea Culpa. PeeOn wasn't eligible for the HOF until this year since he limped along until 2005. Dude is way too high on that list but I think we all understand the dynamic where unassuming guys that win you football games like Art Monk go unrecognized and guys like Chad OchoCinco take all the bows. toolman28
This list lost all credibility the night D. Green was revealed at #75 and Ozzie Newsome came in higher than him. The 3 biggest Skins slights are Houston, Sonny, and C. Taylor. If Namath is on the list and Sonny isn't, the list is a joke. Monk was a great WR, but by far the best WR to wear the burgundy and gold was Taylor. And Houston was, arguably, the 2nd best Skin of all-time behind Baugh, and had a HOF career in Houston before he came here.

Enzo
People need to get off of the Jurgensen stuff. He was a good player, and a great Redskin, but no where near top 100 ever. No where. Most people I talk to that actually saw him play in his prime said that he is the best pure passer ever. People also forget that QBs like Joe Montana, Steve Young, & Troy Aikman played on very good teams. But Jurgensen played most of his career on teams that stunk with bad coaching. I'd be willing to bet money that if Sonny Jurgensen had played for the Cowboys he would be on this list & would probably be in the top 20.

Darrel Green covered Randy Moss. He covered Jerry Rice. He was actually GREAT at playing CB... this list is a joke.
