TD_washingtonredskins
Ok, so if you were a kid in the 80's why are you in this thread? To tease you kids... Probably jealousy now that I think about it. I'd be so young and full of life if I was a kid in the 1990s. Though I'd have missed all those Super Bowls.... Though I'd have missed all those Super Bowls.... Well, I will say this. Half those movies do indeed suck. But we loved them! Even Mighty Ducks, which is talked about every other day on NHL 10 and has dozens of teams online nicknamed after it, is only more than decent. If you want your kid to learn hockey fundamentals, don't show them Mighty Ducks. But the Flying V will live on forever!

Even as a kid, I really didn't dig a lot of those movies. The Sandlot, though, was probably my favorite. I've seen that movie a million and one times. TD_washingtonredskins
In fairness, a lot of movies like that suck when you see them later in life. As AWESOME as Rocky movies, The Karate Kid, The Monster Squad, and Goonies were at the time...I think I only love them because of when I saw them. I've talked to many people since I've grown up who wonder why I liked most of the movies I did as a kid.

Larry
Got to say, it was a really horrible movie, but kind of cute. Some of the horrible was intentional. (And I checked. Princess Bride was '87.)
Larry
Although, now that I think about it, that one wasn't as good as:

thebluefood
I saw the Nostalgia Critic break down of that one. Hilarious stuff! It seems like one of those movies that could've been really good, but it fell way short of the mark.
Larry
I LOVED Sidekicks!!!! (I had a thing for Jonathan Brandis if you can't tell ) I went to see it because of Chuck Norris. But I thought Joe Piscopo was the best part in the movie.
