I don't play video games anywhere near as much as I used to, save for the occasional must have, like RDR which I'm playing now, and will dedicate 1 more week of my life to it before I put it away for awhile. The only games I'm looking forward to are Gran Turismo 5, the new MK, and Doom 4

That would be sweet. I'm waiting for more info on Star Wars: The Old Republic and maybe even some more detail on Fallout: New Vegas.

Bethesda contracted the new Fallout to another developer i think. Might actually be better from what Ive read.

Yes can't wait for both those games, loved fallout 3 so I am so looking forward to Vegas. SWTOR is so far away it's hard for me to get interested.

I have to add in Motorstorm 3. The first was o.k., and I never played the second, but the third is looking awesome. I have never looked forward to a racing game until now. Check it out if you can. Plus, and this may sound stupid, but it will have split screen. Wow! What a concept.

MS: Apocalypse looks badass. Day 1 purchase.

Here is some crazy ****ing news

http://www.engadget.com/2010/06/11/rock-band-3-gets-pro-mode-real-guitar-hybrid-controller-and-k/

Wrap your head around this one: a 150-button guitar peripheral. That's for the pro version of Rock Band 3, whose goal is to actually turn the controllers into something more fitting of actual musicianship in a separate, more advanced "Pro" mode (the core game is still intact for those want it). First up is the aforementioned two-octave keyboard / keytar, whose difficulty goes from pressing within one of five ranges to actual dead-on notes. For drums, the three cymbals can now actually function as separate notes, sharing three lanes but given their own shape to know which to hit. Guitar, however, is a whole new beast. A $150 Fender Mustang pro (pictured up top) boasts 17 frets and 6 strings of accurate placement for a total of 102 buttons, and six nylon strings that must be plucked individually. Of course, if that hits the uncanny valley of plastic peripherals too closely, there's a Rock Band 3 Squier Stratocaster that'll be coming out that can actually be used as a real guitar or a Pro model

Why not just play the real thing. It is more fun anyways....IMO.

Sunken cost... Maybe GH is actually trying to push their audience toward playing a real one...

I had a guitar once... Never played it because I thought I sucked at it... Video games could be moving toward VR... Where, you actually learn easily to do a task that would have taken months of lessons to get to...

I was reading about it earlier, and they siad that Modern Warfare has been inspiring them while making this game. They are getting a lot of great ideas from MW they think it will help revolutionize racing games.

The best part is they are working with Naughty Dog.
