The Republicans have plenty of viable candidates. It's a big party, they'll do what they've done with their past couple nominees; they'll find a moderate within their ranks who is willing to shill enough to the right to energize the base, but is still moderate enough to capture a good portion of the center, and they'll get between 45 and 55% of the popular vote.

I beg to differ. the republicans will run a solid conservative candidate. I think they learned from J.M. that running a "moderate" candidate is not the way to go.

Okay, I fully am willing to believe that I am out of it when it comes to slang. I agree with Kilmer and others that if the intent is to insult than TBer oughtn't be used. Afterall, the Conservative PC police are relentless. Seriously though, it isn't cool and it certainly isn't constructive.
