The Tris
I got this idea from reading the "Bars in NOLA" thread that was bumped last week. Instead of having numerous "What's a good Redskins bar in XXXX?" threads throughout the year, what if we had one place that listed every known Redskins bar in the country (or even the world)? I am going to need your help and knowledge, so please let me know all you can about your favorite Skins watering holes, and I will update the OP regularly. I'd like to have the name, address, webpage, and Sunday specials for each bar if possible, so no matter where you go in the world, you'll be able to find your fellow Skins fans on Sundays (or Mondays or Thursdays or playoff Saturdays:D). So please, reply with your additions so we can make this an informative database. The Tris
There are a bunch listed in the info index. Click my sig and scroll down to the bottom. Thanks MTH. I checked out thehogs.net list prior to making this thread, but decided that I wanted to refresh that list as (at least in terms of the GA bars) many are now defunct or are just simply sports bars that play every game, not dedicated to the Redskins. If that is the case for Georgia, I'm sure that is the case for other states as well. Additionally, I wanted to provide more information, like web address and specials. However if this is overkill, I understand and am happy to close this up.

nemocystem
anyone know which of the L.A. bars is the real deal? too many options for lil' ol' me. i really just want to find a place that will cater to Redskins fans....having more 'Skins fans there is just a bonus. (p.s. i'm familiar with Joxer's...i'm in an L.A. Galaxy supporters group that often uses Joxer's as one of our "unofficially official" supporter's pubs)

The Tris
too many options for lil' ol' me. i really just want to find a place that will cater to Redskins fans....having more 'Skins fans there is just a bonus. Thats part of the reason I wanted to start a fresh list...it seems a bit like some of those bars from other lists are simply generic sports bars that play every game, and are not necessarily "Redskins" bars. If they don't have the B&G hanging on the walls or jersey-clad fans signing Hail to the Redskins, it ain't really cutting it for me. So keep submitting ones and I'll keep updating the OP. Thanks. It's the one on church street near the stadium.222 South Church Street, Charlotte - (704) 376-8767 I thought the one on Church Street was an Eagles bar? I thought the Skins one was this one on East Blvd.? I could easily be wrong, because I have never been to this one. The Tris
Yeah, I think it is that one. Yeah, I'm going with the one that says "Come visit our "Redskins Room" and enjoy the game on our 100"+ projector screen with tons of other Skins fans. All surrounded by burgundy and gold tradition!" Unless we have two Picasso's owners, I think the person (Long n Left) that posts here owns the one on East Blvd. Sorry if I seem argumenative, I am just confused. It happens a lot. That's cool. I went to the one on Church Street and off to the left of the bar was a bunch of Skins fans on the big screen. It was the game against the Giants where we wore or Gold R helmets and lost to them when Betts couldn't get in the endzone twice on the 1. I never went back. That was what, 3 years ago? If the guy who owns the one on E. Blvd has the Redskins bar, keep that one up.
