Commander PK
Just heard it for the first time today. This version makes you forget this song was ever a huge pop song. This sounds more like a version you would hear in a Memphis Blues Bar at 2:00 a.m. when the smoke is so thick you could cut it with a knife. I really like this version. Commander PK
interesting take on an old song... thanks for sharing this man! no problem. Rarely a song these days makes me stop and listen, but this one did. I was flipping through the channels on Directv and on the information channel this was in the background. I had to look it up. Recognized the voice, but didn't know for sure who it was until I looked it up on the tube.
mojo
It's weird to say considering some of the incredible material he's written over the years including writing the whole Temple of the Dog album himself (which is phenomenol) but I really can't stand any of his solo stuff. I'm really not a big fan of his Audioslave work as well. He lost his voice and moved to France, France??? Enough said.

Audioslave was just o.k. and I've never bought one of his solo albums. BigMike21
Cornell's first two solo albums were great. Then he hooked up with Timbaland and it all went downhill so bad to the point where we are getting a Soundgarden reuinion tour soon.

Mickalino
I want to hear an electric version. That's going to sound even more killer. Cornell has one of the best voices in R&R ever.
BigMike21
That was just plain tragic. so so bad. IT was sad really. I grew up with Soundgarden as my favorite band, Then April 1997 they called it quits. Chris' solo albums were great. I actually enjoyed the Audioslave albums and let me tell you they put on a hell of a show. But the Timbaland album??? Inexcusable. Embarrassing. Sounds like the hot Stinky. Seriously just check out the lead single from that album, it's horrible: -OgwDVaCiSw
Mad Mike
Holy ****! Cornell as a singer, is like an actor who can read the phone book and make it sound deep and important. He's that damn good.

Message to these producers: "You're doing it wrong." lol

Fan since a Fetus
I've heard a couple of the songs from the Cornell album before Timbaland got involved and they were not that bad. I forget where I heard them though. I wish I could link them. It sounded like typical Cornell. I have always loved his voice, but generally hate his music. With the exception of Badmotorfinger. Rusty Cage was awesome!
