Reminds me of....Andre Smith last year, the elite tackle that fell because of his weight, right? Those horrendous pictures of him running shirtless? *shudder*

At the same time, if he can control his weight in the pro's some team will most likely get a steal later than he should have been drafted.

Also, it wasn't just the weight with Big MW. He just wasn't ever as good as his draft spot. He lost the weight with us, and still wasn't very good. Cody won't be drafted till the end of the first, top of the second, and that's very good value if he's disciplined in the pros. Different situation completely.

He should be a decent player though regardless of his weight. His job will be to sit in the middle of the 3-4 and take up two blockers. I see him eating his way out of the NFL eventually due to a lack of commitment.

How do you put on 20 pounds after your season ends and then the NFL off season activities begin? Shouldn't you be preparing and training for the biggest day of your life?

And that right there is why I wouldn't touch him with a 10-ft pole...

Great point. I dont see him sticking around long in the NFL with that kind of attitude.

Agreed, from his performance on the field i'd give him a late 1st to early 2nd grade, but this obvious lack of commitment will definitely scare teams away. I see him probably being drafted in the mid to late 2nd or early 3rd. Potential to be an excellent 3-4 NT, but is just as likely to as you said, eat himself out of the league.
