MattFancy
Wow, I guess we knew it was coming, but I still can't believe. Always like LT2 and hope he can find a team. One of the best RBs I've ever seen play outside of Barry Sanders.
bushwack
I guess I'll get it out of the way and say what needs to be said, vet min+incentives. He'll find a team eventually, it just won't be the Skins IMO.

Hiro
Really sad to see his career in San Diego end like this. He's a guy who I would love to see get a ring before he retires.
Soup
wow, what a drop from glory. I wonder what team will sign him? I'm thinking the lions
SIXX99
The NFL is a what have you done for me latley league. Hate to see him leave the Chargers though.

Always seemed like a stand up guy. I think the Pats might come calling.
Shiv
This is what happens to running backs. Most other positions can probably rebound atleast once with another team in a different system. I'd be surprised if LT has another career year in a different town.
santana_4_prez
That would suck if San Diego wins the SB next year w/o him. That would be a shame.
John Lydon
My moneys on the cowpukes picking him up for next year. I hope not because I don't want to face LT twice a year.
WhoRUSupposed2Be
Well, it was to be expected but I am thinking that The Chargers will be trying to make a run a certain RB?! Who might that be?
MartinC
My moneys on the cowpukes picking him up for next year. I hope not because I don't want to face LT twice a year. The Cowboys are like 3 deep at RB. I don't see them as players for LT. He is not close to the back he was a couple of years ago but he would be a good pick up at the right price even as a 3rd down and change of pace back. I hope he does not end up signing for a bad team and getting the heck knocked out of him for the last couple of years of his NFL career.
Laxpunk2006
wow, what a drop from glory. I wonder what team will sign him? I'm thinking the lions Other than the fact that they suck for what reason would Detroit sign LT? Sure's a great presence but Detroit is so far from even fielding a competitive team, let alone a legitimate playoff threat, why would they want a washed up RB? Detroit needs cheap, young, talent. They don't need guys whose best football was multiple years ago. Someone will take him but I really can't think of a single good situation for him to go to. Maybe a team that runs a committee and still needs a goal line threat since he is the king of the 1 yard TD. NO could be a good fit if he's okay with getting under 200 carries as they spread it out with Thomas, Bush, and maybe even Bell. Not a lot of suitors for 30+ year old RB's with a flat tire. McD5
He will find another home quickly. He can definitely still play at a high level, and could help almost any team in this league. They had better hope he doesn't stay in the division. The Raiders have Run DMC, but I wouldn't be surprised. The Bears could use him. The Eagles could use him. Just about any team, literally, could use him.

He could do for some team what Fred Taylor did for the Pats last year.

I would count the 'Pukes on the unlikely list. Sure he is from TX and all, but what spot on the roster could he fill? Buffalo, NE, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Indianapolis, Jacksonville, and Denver Philly, Chicago, Detroit, GB, Minnesota, TB, SL, SF, Seattle Alot of teams could use him. I predict Pete Carroll will give him a shot in Seattle...:2cents:

But I don't see why any team would want to sign him. He's likely only go8ng to get worse from here on out.

I believe the Texans make the most sense, they need a goal line RB. They need a complimentary back to Slaton, and LT would help Slaton become a better RB and this would give the Texans and Schaub/Johnson a more balanced offensive attack. santana_4_prez
Yeah but they could do what Indy did when they won the Super Bowl and send him a ring. Indy sent Edge a ring somehow i don't think that makes Edge feel any better. And i doubt it would make LT2 feel better. Those are the type of rings that end up on pawn stars
