NOLASKINSFAN
Safari is horble, chrome isn't bad. Fire Fox is great out of the three because it is most like IE. Microsoft still the best in this area.
No Excuses
I like how the bookmarks work on Firefox. I don't know if it's the same for every other web browser but I love typing a keyword for the website and having it pop up.
Sticksboi05
Chrome would be the best if it wasn't incompatible with so many web pages, had a better interface and had addons. Oh but it is all those things so Firefox wins hands down.
Bang
I was a straight up Firefox user until about a month ago. Now it hangs up so often it's not even usable. I started a thread on this issue. http://www.extremeskins.com/showthread.php?t=316073 Anyway, I've given up on it. I went back to IE and it rarely hangs. And when it does, it's got that nice feature to check the connectivity. I don't know what happened to Firefox, but I followed everyone's suggestions in that thread to see if it was a router issue or a firewall issue, and found nothing. For example, every time I opened EBay, Firefox would hang. Youtube.. hang. If there's one thing I've learned on the internet it's this... updates don't always mean good things. When I updated Firefox my problems began. ~BAng

Burgundy Burner
I'm in the IE camp for now. The password system that I use is very IE friendly and any update is a breeze.

The only thing about IE is that its not so good for security. I honestly wish I had the same issue with Firefox, so I could troubleshoot it. Unfortunately, most people I know that get the hanging or crashing issues rarely try troubleshooting beyond uninstalling and reinstalling.
MSB 21
FWIW If you buy a miniHP with a 10.1" screen, for your 7 year old, whose sole purpose is to play Webkinz, Google Chrome is the only way to go. It supports whatever app Webkinz uses in their non scrolling aspect screen. After about a week of :type: and fielding the question, "Did you fix it yet?",I stumbled upon this fact and we are up and running. Woo Hoo! Edit: although I have tried GC on my PC, I still like IE8 browser because i think it is still the most compatible all around.

Microsoft still the best in this area. Can't tell much difference between FF and IE, myself. I've been using Safari for a couple years now. I updated to 4 or whatever the new one is, and was not impressed. Rolled back to 3.whatever and kept on trucking. The built-in spell check is great, some folks here should take advantage. IE freezes too much. My wife still uses it and cries about how much it sucks.
chipwhich
I like IE because the font on and clarity on extremeskins is much sharper than firefox. I recently switched to a mac. I had to run windows in a VM on occasion due to the fact I have work sites that only work with IE.

I don't know if it's the type of netbook you have, because ever since I've had my netbook (ASUS Eee 1005HA), the only browser I run is Firefox and I'm able to access ES with no problem. jpillian
I've been hooked on Chrome for browsing since it came out. It just screams. Firefox rules the roost for work because of Firebug. I imagine if I disabled all extensions, it would probably have a similar load time to Chrome (and no doubt better compatabilty) -- but alas, I need those extensions. IE just sucks. Okay, IE8, but their past transgressions and POS IE6 has turned me against IE for all time.
