TheDoyler23
If you make such a questionable decision as to be a Pukes fan, maybe you would also decide to have a shoe bomb...

youngestson
So if you are planning on blowing up a plane in Philadelphia, just get in line behind someone wearing a Dallas jersey and you got it made. What she forgot to mention is that it was a Dallas burka.
Tom [Giants fan]
I would say she is blowing this out of proportion but the fact that one of the idiots who work there said "how's it feel to be a Cowboys fan in Philadelphia?" after she was patted down makes this an issue. He basically told her the only reason she was singled out is because of the jersey she was wearing. To me, that is unacceptable and very unprofessional. They should have to apologize to her and even give her some sort of compensation. Think if this was your wife or even your daughter wearing a Redskins jersey in Dallas or Philadelphia and that happened.
DallasSucks19922010
I would be pissed too. No one should ever be singled out without a reasonable suspicion. They will be lucky to keep their jobs if she brings a lawsuit against them.
onedrop
Guess you didn't really look at all. This happened on 1/15. While the Cowboys were still in the playoffs. Not so odd. you are right, i didnt pay too much attention. but then again anyone wearing a dallass jersey is odd to me
CM916
Hmm, I make a point to wear Redskins gear every time I pass through that ghetto airport. All I get are a couple of cold stares from eagle fans and warm greetings from any Skins fans, even the ones in stealth mode.

The only thing I'd have a problem with is if it was a man who searched her, which would be breaking laws... They've probably got quotas to fill (x amount of searches per hour)... Just a case of someone being too sensitive and wanting a pay day..

Spec138
As long as it wasn't an over the top kinda search, than BFD lady. I like a little animosity between the fanbases, granted I've never been to Philly.
Popeman38
Seriously? Who cares? They can choose anyone at anytime for additional screening. She got selected. If the search didn't cause her to miss her plane, or maker strip for a cavity search I don't think she has a leg to stand on. And if my wife is selected for additional screening in *gasp* a plexiglassed room *gasp* there is no concern on my part because she isn't carrying anything illegal and a woman will be conducting the search. It is a peril of flying, being singled out for screening. Anyone selected could create a reason they were unjustly selected. Based on the events in Texas over the last 6months, was she really a bad choice to search?
[[ghost]]
All jokes aside, this is pretty bad. Airport security is one of the few things we can't afford to take lightly. When their focused on getting vengeance on a rival's fanbase instead of looking out for suspects, it puts everyone at risk. Mall cops can afford to do that, but Airport security should have much bigger fish to fry.
Jeff in D.C.
Could be worse. She coulda had a couple of thugs beat her up and egg her house for wearing that jersey. But of course, that could never happen in Philly. Seriously, she's lucky she isn't wearing a toe tag right now. They take sports VERY seriously up there. I wouldn't dare wear a Caps or Skins jersey anywhere close to that city. Hell I probably wouldn't wear Nationals gear there either. Philly fans are lunatics. paloosa
If this is the basis of her argument then she is really desperate for attention. The random selection process wasn't due to her being a Cowboy fan but due to what their rules dictate. Now they may have done it on purpose but that is hard to prove. We all have our loyalties to our teams but to accuse someone based on a jersey she was wearing is just a way to bring attention to themselves or to some cause. The person that said that to her could of been one of the other employees there that wanted to just make her feel bad for wearing that "GOD AWFUL" jersey. To me it is just a non issue and she needs to get over it.
