ESPN Insider = Joke.

Not that i'm saying that Bush is a bad idea (given the right price), but we are mentioned in every single one of these articles solely for the fact that we are the Redskins, therefore we must be included in every big name FA article.

I think what they meant is, Bruce Allen and Mike Shanahan want to get the best player they can in every position in order to help the Redskins win, and Dan Snyder would have no problem with writing the check.

And they could not be blamed for wanting him.

I think he will shine wherever he goes, he has a lot of talent that is bottled up. Obviously no one can 2nd guess that offense but Brees hits whoever is open. Bush wants to be used more and in any other offense I see him getting what he wants and whatever team gets him will get what they want in return.

I don't see him being that far off from a DeSean Jackson, that's just me though.

No, Bush actually is a bad idea. We don't need any more physical freaks with no football ability.

QFT. BSPN must think that Vinny is still in charge.

I don't know about you guys, but I would love to see what Bush can do in Shanahan's system. I don't think he'll be a 1500 yard guy, but I could see him taking 7-10 carries with one or two long runs plus some receptions out of the backfield.

If he's not too expensive, he'd at least be an outstanding third down option/home run threat.

If Shanny is going to implement zone blocking, the system would be perfect for him.

Perhaps Bush struggled in the run game New Orleans early partially because our system was built for north-south power runners like McAllister. This year he averaged 5.6 a carry for 70 carries. Then again our line wasn't different this year, with the exception of Nicks at RG and Bushrod at LT.
