Mickalino
I need a certain kind of wrench. Can't find it anywhere - not at Sears Craftsmen department, not at the auto parts store, not on the internet. I don't even know if it exists. I need a Flare Wrench, but it has to be short-handle sized. All the flare wrenches I'm finding are too long. It also needs to be an open ended wrench, and not a socket, or ratchet, or any kind of attachment whatsoever. Is there such a thing ?

Koolblue13
buy the flare wrench and then cut the handle down...bamm...custom sized There ya go. Not to hard to figure out. Or, you can get ratchet attachments, with the right size extensions. Or, you could drive up to PA and borrow mine. Or, you could call Snap On and pay a ton of money for something you'll only use once. What's the app you need it for Mick?

PCS
Which,if he can't borrow them, are more than likely 1 or 2 more tools paid for that probably won't be used again. They do make offset flare wrenches and such. But I too,am wondering about the application for this.
Squidley
A $9 grinder from harbor freight.A sawzaw. ya beat me to it I was going to suggest a grinding wheel I am not sure what he had access to. a sawzall would work with a metal cutting blade. are you sure ya really need to use one in the first place * a workbench vise is another great thing to have*
