Why do people dislike Dennis Kucinich?

Is it because he looks like the Keebler Elf? I think he's got major balls. He's been one of the only people who have stood up in the last decade. And whether you agree with him or not at least he doesn't cower in fear like the rest of Congress.

I'm starting a Dennis Kucinich movement. Come on! Who's with me!

He is one of the few legit people in our congress and yet he draws half assed remarks about his looks. What a blast.

I don't care for some of his views, too liberal, but a great guy and he and I are dead on in foreign policy.

I would have voted for him or Paul in the election and done so proudly.

I know a friend of his and he truly is a great person.

Thank you!

He's a beast. With all the spineless ****s in Congress it's nice to see someone who isn't afraid to say what he actually thinks. I don't care if people view him as a kook.

Dennis being one of the few real people left and not a pod replacement. Yeh, don't see eye to eye on policy a lot, but feel he's more of a straight shooter about his positions and operates more in good faith than many. He and Jindl would make odd bed-felllows ideologically, but great match-up in terms of persona and style. I'd vote that ticket and let them work out compromises between them. :)

There's this homeless guy who smells of body odor who yells out whatever is on his mind on the street corner from time to time, too...

Just "saying what you actually think" might not be enough to warrant effervescent praise lol :D...Other than that, what other reasons should people revere Kucinich? (Not saying there aren't any...just saying you should be championing more than that)

At this point saying what you feel and not being afraid is almost a good thing. But other than that Dennis Kucinich is a good guy and really gets behind his constituents and looks after them. He is absolutely loved in his district.

He also doesn't try and act like he's something he isn't. He is who he is. I love that about him.

Plus he looks like the Keebler Elf. Not a blast. Thats a good thing.

He reminds me of Paul Simon. Not the singer, the nerdy looking Democratic candidate in ('92?) who I also had a lot of agreement with and also seemed to be dismissed in some part for his physical appearance. It's like when he talked people weren't actually listening to the words. Or at least that's how I rationalize his poor success!

I voted once for Simon and once for each of his earlobes
