I like both of them more than I did Stafford and Sanchez this time last year. A lot more.

Should be interesting. If Shanny thinks they're worthy... well, I trust him and Allen a lot more than Snyder/Cerrato.

Agreed 100%

Clausen's accuracy and decison making is a lot better than staffords. The Big thing about stafford was his arm strength. Which is overated anyway

Because these guys are going by highlights and stats.

O yeah and beacuse Clausen is a "douchebag"

What else do we have to go by? And he's a "douchebag" because of so many different things, but to me it's the way he taunts other teams, hired a motorcade and hummer limo to show up to South Bend, shows NO humility (you can't justify being ****y when your team is losing so much), and has 10 lbs of gel in his hair (had to throw that in there :silly:)

I think the taunting is overblown. The 2 incidents were not that big of a deal. He is just very competitive.

I already know you're gonna call this an excuse or somehow try diminish its importance but, Brees was in then same system his entire time in San Diego.

Being in the same system his entire career would have benefitted Campbell, sure.

As for the poll, I lean Bradford. He is super accurate and has a lightning fast release. I wouldn't mind Clausen, though.

I would take clausen for multiple reasons.

There is the pro style offense experience which is well know.

Then his mechanics, which I think are slightly better then Bradford's, yet still can be improved.

And the 3rd reason is decision making, which I think is the most important other then accuracy which I would say is almost a push. After watching some of Bradford's games and even his highlights you can see that most of his passing plays have are designed with only 2 or 3 receiving options and he often hits his #1. He also almost always is given o ly half of the field to work with. When he is not doing a designed rollout and sits in the pocket he almost never scans the entire field and only works with half of the field. Because of this I think Bradford's decision making is severely over-rated. Now this isn't Bradford's fault, its just how his system works and is a reason qb's in such systems are able to put up such incredible stats.

Clausen on the other hand often works with the entire field and did so with a less pass protection, yet he was still extremely productive while having more information to process.

I think clausens "attitude" is ultimately the reason for his fallen draft status amongst mock drafts. I think coaches and gm's will look past this and clausen will be drafted before Bradford.

To everyone being a pariah in this thread, per rotoworld/WP:

New Redskins coach Mike Shanahan is "eager to draft and develop a young quarterback," a league source tells Jason Reid of the Washington Post.

This doesn't mean that Jason Campbell won't be back in 2010, but it does mean that Shanahan doesn't view the restricted free agent [Campbell] as the long-term answer. Most mocks have the Redskins taking Sam Bradford or Jimmy Clausen with the No. 4 overall pick.

As Tim Taylor would say, "Ho ho ho-ho ho!"

OMG :ols::ols::ols:

Ok I know this is funny, but WTF does this have to do with his QB skills. C'mon guys get over it. IT'S HAIR. He was 17 and 18. Everyone has rocked some terrible hair trends.

Plus he's shown off his rings, so what. He went undefeated throughout high school

Some fans can't get over that picture and thinks it proves something. Personally, I am so sick of it. It instantly dismisses any further point that poster is going to make IMO.

Agreed. It's nonsense.

By their logic, Cooley has no skill and is a bad person either because of his former haircut or the "suggesting pictures" around the web.

Anyone who is judging by appearance should go head over to TMZ or ET... this is Redskins Nation.
