JimmiJo
http://web.warpathconfidential.com/?p=3142 Teammates, coaches praise Grimm’s HOF election We don’t always do this, but between our arms being too tired to type after shoveling snow for hours and the strength of the quotes, here is the reaction to former Redskins guard Russ Grimm making the Pro Football Hall of Fame. Joe Gibbs “I’m thrilled for Russ. He is very deserving. He was a big part of our success and our three Super Bowl championships. He was a versatile performer that could play center, guard and tackle and was a great leader. He is a great addition to the Pro Football Hall of Fame and I know there are a lot of Redskins fans that are very happy right now and I’m sure many of them will be in Canton this summer to cheer him on.” Joe Bugel “He was one of the most complete football players, and people, that I’ve ever coached. He could play all the positions – center, guard and tackle. He was the leader by example. He wasn’t a loudmouth. He just came to work every day. It’s a well deserved honor for a great, great football player and a great, great friend.” Click the link to read the rest of the article... Riggo-toni
Long overdue - even more of an outrage than Monk.

John Lydon
I think Buges is doing it. Then I will definately be making the trek to Canton. Anytime Buges gets a mic in front of him, you know you don't want to miss it!
TimmySmith
While I am glad for Russ, I am sure even he feels a bit strange knowing that he could not hold Jacoby's jock on his best day. Bittersweet.

kingdaddy
Russ is in but why isn't Joe Jacoby? This should become our next crusade. The Hogs went to 4 Super Bowls with 3 different QB's and 3 different RB's each time. They set the SB rushing record twice and still hold it (Timmy Smith) with a rookie RB making his first NFL start! The Hogs put up 35 points in one quarter in SB XXII. They put up 37 points on Buffalo in SB XXVI. They led Riggins to a then record 24 rushing TD's in a season. Joe Jacoby was a huge part of all of these accomplishments. I'm ecstatic that Russ Grimm is going into the Hall. Someday Jacoby's got to join him.
