riggins44
I'm tired of having rain everyday. Yesterday, about noon, a F1 tornado touched down less than 500 yards from my house. Messed some nice houses up. Called my wife and all we had was heavy rain and some wind.
codeorama
Yeah, these storms have sucked big time. It's getting old quick.
SEF
Wow. I was just looking at the Va. radar. It looks like Ks. in the spring. I can't remember the last good rain we had here. Everything's brown. Haven't had to mow in weeks.
Chief skin
I heard that DW looked like $hit before and after the rain at camp, he truly sucks and that is our back up QB:doh:
Kilmer17
ughh, we've had over 40 inches of rain since March 1st. I mow twice a week just to keep up.
codeorama
When I went away to Training Camp, my wife didn't cut the grass and I came home to the "ghetto yard"....lol. It was sad.
riggins44
Code, at least you can cut yours. I've got to get a bushhog to tow behind a boat to cut my yard.
big z
i'd kill for rain right now man.... too many 100 degree days here in south texas. Cold Beer and Redskins will take the mind off the heat though.
OrangeSkin
It's been looking like rain around these parts for about two weeks running now, and it's rained for about one hour combined over that time period. Some areas of VA have rain coming out of their ears whereas others are sick of cloudy skies and no rain. It's the luck of the draw with these damned isolated showers. skinsfan44
Last year, Frederick county, MD was 22 in. below normal in rainfall, this time last year. This year, we are 17 in. above normal. That was before the 3 in. we got yesterday and last night. Big differance a year makes.
Golgo-13
No kidding, funny to think that we were talking drought this time last year. I normally like cooler weather and the rain, but I will admit that it's starting to get to me a little. We had a few weeks of normal summer but not much. Most of it has just been gray and rainy. I'm looking forward to fall though because it should be beautiful with all the moisture we have had. Fall is the best season in VA bar none. Ghost of
Consider yourselves lucky. I remember the hot DC-area weather and how humid it got. Seattle has had rain a couple times of late, but not in the waking hours really. We've had a really dry summer, and the sun out here is different. It's right in your face and it will make a 70 degree temp day feel like 85, it's very bizarre. I guess that's why Seatown has the highest sunglass purchases per capita of any city in the country! I wish we had more rain and cool weather.
