Again, thanks for the love. I've been waiting to use the bottom image for quite some time. Now that Allen and Shanahan are with this orginzation I just needed to find a good image of Shanahan to fit. The rest is just messing around with different ideas as far as shading, lighting, effects, color schemes. I did this one in about a day. This is not normal though. I was on a roll and just didn't want to stop. Don't expect to produce work like this in a day.

Are you naturally creative? When you were a kid did you like drawing and coloring in coloring books?

Yea no I understand... I've always been an "artsy" type of guy... I loved to sketch my own hands and landscapes and, of course, sports memorabilia... you guys just make it look so easy... I'm going to try to get back into it though. I love working with photoshop and although I'm going to school for Engineering/Law, I love doing stuff like this in my free time, just haven't had any free time lately.

A good way to come up with new ideas is to think about who you want to do a wall or sig about, which player. Then think about what that brings to the field, intensity, power, quick speed, or is he a beast or a playmaker. Then you need to find a background, or create one, that brings depth to the overall image. You usually want to keep it related to the player like a city scene, football field, a particualr building in the city he plays in. Then let your creativity flow. That is where the wall or sig really comes together. Once you get the background and main player image in place the rest is up to you to mess around and try new things. Don't be afraid to try something different. But remember to always use layers. I can't stress this enough. If you don't use seperate layers for the different effects, images, etc. you use you will have a hard time going back and taking something away if you don't like it. Other than that, just go wild. You never know what is going to come out unless you just try it.

Keep working on new stuff and posting them up so we can help you get better and better. Just so you know, I am a Graphic Artist. Doing things like this is my career, so don't just compare your work to mine. I get paid to be creative. I mess around with these programs all day every day.
