Orakpophobia
He wasn't even the best frosh this year .... see Dion Lewis from Pitt. BEAST. I wouldn't mind McCluster, McKnight or Devine, but none of them are really projected to be "every down" backs. If we take one of them, who else do we run with at RB? Portis? Ganther? GibbsFactor
Point taken. Lots and lots of good backs this year. Spiller - 4.37 - (1st) who I want if there in second McCluster - 4.42 (2-3) Tate (Auburn)- 4.5 (4th) Miller (Fresno State) - 4.52 (6-7) Upchurch - Bama 4.53 (7-FA) Safon Johnson (USC) - 4.54 (7-FA) Andre Anderson (tulane) - 4.54 (5-6) James Starks (Buffalo) - 4.54 (5-6) Chris Brown (Oklahoma) - 4.54 (5th) Joique Bell (Wayne State) - 4.54 (4-5) Hardesty - 4.55 (3-4) Gerhart - 4.55 (3rd round) Javarris James (the U) 4.58 (6th) Charles Scott - 4.6 (4-5) I sorted by speed cause that's what we need. Uno Mas
Apparently he is a converted WR, watching him hit people like he did at 165 he would be scary at around 190 No lie! Im excited to see how he does at the combine.
Darth Tater
Im in! Yeah, because he's a shrinky-dink, he may be available in the 4th or later.
DRSmith
He was not afraid to run between the tackles but his outside speed was some thing else. And he can return kicks
JaxJoe
@GibbsFactor. If you're looking for speed: here's another speedy back: LaMarcus Coker. 5"10 195 and ran a 4.24 forty at the East Coast Bowl in Petersburg, Va., last month. http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players/1675291

I didn't have his speed but 4.24 is CRAZZZZZZZZZY fast. Now that is Darrell Green fast. :yikes: But can he catch a screen pass or a toss?

Uno Mas
Yeah, because he's a shrinky-dink, he may be available in the 4th or later. Barry Sanders was told his whole life he was too small. I know the two are obviously built differently, but still. From this vid, he seems like someone I could root for, even if the guy in the beginning is out to lunch, haha. hieverybody
I'm really high on McCluster as a third down back. If we could get him in the fourth, that would be awesome. Devine is my second choice. I don't think we need to get a starting running back out of this draft - we can plug in someone and be fine.
JaxJoe
LaMarcus has a decent career. Played for Tennessee 2006 & 2007. Off-field issues (drugs) kicked off UT. Transfered to Hampton College. Can definitely catch the ball and break them for TDs. He's a thousand yard rusher as a senior. Lot's up upside on this kid. Because he went to Hampton, he'll most definitely be invited to the skins local college evaluation thing - pre-draft. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/player/profile?playerId=175656 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JjhdAnkiJz0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SNsx-WSw0Uc
Gregpeck99
Skins need to draft a QB and a RB in rounds 1 and 2 ... I don't care which ones. My favorite combo is Spiller/McCoy but I also like Clausen/Gerhart and Bradford/Murray.

Lombardi's_kid_brother
I want devine from WVU. When is he projected to go (assuming he comes out)? Are you planning on using him as a garden gnome?
ZRagone
If Okung, Berry, or Suh is not there at 4...and possibly even just Berry or Suh...I'd LOVE to see us trade back for a first and a 2nd or 3rd. This would give us... 1st, 2nd, 2nd/3rd, 4th, 5th, 7th Get us 2 OL, 2 RB's, a potential starter (now or soon) OLB, and either another OL or a good teams player One RB needs to be speed, one power. Its a deep RB draft so we should hopefully be able to get them with mid to late round picks and set up this team hopefully for a young RB duo for some years to come. Similarly, if we can nail a few good OL this draft and next we'll be looking pretty and young on the line which is needed. We need to try and find a good mid round LB that could potentially be a starter to eventually move Orakpo permanently to end, hopefully opposite within a year Jeremy Jarmon (Whose essentially our 3rd round pick in this draft)

Uno Mas
He'd fill a big need as a third down back and returner. I know he's a receiver but, how nice would it be to have a guy like Percy Harvin, a duel threat, a real game changer? I hope Shanny has this in mind. Ghost of
There's a cat for Central Michigan named Antonio Brown who is a pretty good player. Considering the recent success of unheralded and underrated backs from the MAC and lesser conferences, I think I'm leaning in that direction. One of these guys will drop because NFL scouts and FOs still get hot over big league guys and underestimate talent and production.

PhiAlpha
Ryan Matthews was a straight up monster at Fresno State. I would love to see the Skins pick him up if he is available when we pick in the middle rounds. I am a season ticket holder for fresno state. That guy can run. Has lots of long td runs. Tough to take down. I see him going 2nd round

If we can get him in the middle rounds he would be a great draft day steal. He's a beast. Him and Portis together would be an awesome one two punch.
