HigSkin
Kiper also said it has to be Shanny's "guy" and there's a lot of time between now and the draft. Said OKUNG is the ONLY LT in the draft worth anything.
StillUnknown
So in that case the Redskins need to figure out which QB Kiper thinks they should take:If he says he prefers Bradford then you definitely take Clausen - and vice versa. Kiper has Bradford & Clausen rated very high Todd McShay doesnt even have Clausen as a first round pick opinions are wild on those two right now. lol

Hope our scouting department is on top of this stuff and understands what kind of system Shanny wants to run.
Rumple_Stiltskin
on JC resigning....this is our chance to get JC for pretty cheap..or they can just offer alot of insentives such as bonuses based on stats, wins, whatever. This way if he does well we made a low cost investment and if he fails it wont cost us alot of money
Smoot Point Really
"most important thing is one guy in control of offense" We had "one guy in control" last year and the first half of this year... Let's not assume the problems on offense started when Sherms Lewis & Smith started also participating.
Uno Mas
Is there a link to listen to this interview?
Avidpoet
Yep. He basically compared Snyder to an average fan when it comes to personnel matters. If thats the case it makes me wonder if Dan has an Extremeskins account lol
Ghost of
No question that Jason isn't interested in staying if they do draft a QB at 4. Meanwhile, Drew Brees took the final step and raised his game to high levels (before getting his shoulder hurt.) And now, he's on even a greater plane. Any bets that Jason will even accept the challenge?
Ghost of
Uh huh. Be careful with any accusations or assumptions. And we'll just leave it at that. Though we quashed the subject in another thread, I'll just say that a much excoriated poster in the one thread was, perhaps not in degree but in fact, right about some individuals and their football opinions being tied to other matters. For instance, one can review TRUTH DETECTOR's posts and see a common running theme throughout posts on this particular subject. I'll leave it at that. Listening to Jason, it sounded like if Allen and/or Shanahan tell him that they do intend to take a QB early (1st or 2nd round), he would not want to be here. grhqofb5
Completely unrelated, but did you know........ Shanahan's daughter was roommates with Jenna Bush in college?
ADF
I was listening to the interviews and I believe Dockery came on after JC. At some point I was interrupted and missed some of the things he said. They were talking about the championship game on Thursday night and I could of swore he said something about Sam Bradford. Does anyone know what he said? I was distracted at the time.
illone
I think this is as much rehabbing Snyders image more than anything. I think the idea of Snyder being a meddling owner is a bit overblown. He's a guy who likes being in the loop and I doubt that is going to change much. For appearances sake, Bruce needs him out of the spotlight for a while. But, I doubt he's not going to talk football with these guys at times and be in the loop with what is going on. This is exactly what you hope for. So far so good.
