darrell1106
Shannahan: Can't wait to watch film of JC and his job is to take JC to the next level (paraphrase). Not much waiver in that statement about trading him but we all understand what's at stake w/ JC, his contract, etc.
PCS
Doc: "What's your perspective of Jason Campbell." Mike: "I like the way he handles himself. Looking forward to looking at the film. I think I can get him play to the next level. Been around a lot of good quarterbacks. If you want to get better, you'll get better. I will put him in an offense that will help him succeed." Mike agrees with Doc. Need to build around with what you have.
Warpath11
Great intereview with coach...If Jason is still the QB after Shanny is done with the evaluation he will build an offense around the strengths of Jason Campbell. BUILDS HIS SCHEME AROUND THE TALENT HE HAS as Doc said "golden answer"
PCS
Jason up next. Could be good. Doc's been a pretty good critic of him over the past day or so.

RocketCitySkins
Called Jason a "class act". Looking forward to sitting down and watching tape. Needs to understand exactly what Jason's strengths and weaknesses are.
gortiz
"likes the way campbell handled himself. looks forward to talking to him in person. its his job to put an offense together that suits him" i mean, did he just kind of show his cards? based on that JC is coming back. poor Socal and LKB

PCS
My impression is that the Mike and Bruce aren't interested in games right now. They're not interested in playing poker. They're taking the attitude of the old Hogs linemen against the Cowboys. This is where we're going, and you ain't stopping us.
Warpath11
i mean, did he just kind of show his cards? based on that JC is coming back. poor Socal and LKB Nah he still needs to go through his evaluation of Jason and after that he will make the decision (that is how I understood it). If the decision is to keep Jason he will design his offense to suit Jason's strengths.
TheLongshot
Nah he still needs to go through his evaluation of Jason and after that he will make the decision (that is how I understood it). If the decision is to keep Jason he will design his offense to suit Jason's strengths. Based on what I saw in the presser and reading on here, it has a strong, "We want you to come back" vibe to it. Whether Campbell wants to come back will be up to him.

If the decision is to keep Jason he will design his offense to suit Jason's strengths. The only"if" I got out of the statements was when Mike stated that "If you want to get better, you'll get better." My impression is that Jason is the man for now and unless he doesn't want to get better,it's his job to lose.

TSO
I think this is as much rehabbing Snyders image more than anything. I think the idea of Snyder being a meddling owner is a bit overblown. He's a guy who likes being in the loop and I doubt that is going to change much. For appearances sake, Bruce needs him out of the spotlight for a while. But, I doubt he's not going to talk football with these guys at times and be in the loop with what is going on. I agree with this. Vinny stated a hundred times that Dan was not involved in selecting players, just signing the checks. That being said, there were reports that Dan simply wanted Haynesworth no matter what. Still, I agree with you. I think it's way overblown.
PCS
Doc: What did you think. Did you watch it? "Yeah I was with Rock Cartwright and Chic Hernandez watching it. One thing I enjoyed was disciplinary. Have to have that. Everybody has to work to hard and together. To be winner have to do all that Shanahan said. Warpath11
Did he not say it was his job to take Jason to the next level? Yes if Jason Campbell is his guy, after his evaluation, it will be Mike Shanahan's job take him to the next level.
HigSkin
I really like Shanny's exchange with Doc about coaching to the strengths of your players and that you'd better do it or you won't be in the league for long...cough, cough, Zorn.

PCS
Talking about what guys need to do to get better than 4-12. Have to look in the mirror. Doc: He was very clear about making you a franchise QB. Was looking forward to working with you. Stated some of the stuff said about Doc and C.P. was taken out of context. Will you guys be able to get it together yourselves to get this thing back in track. " He said they can. Said he talked to about C.P. things and they worked it out. J.C. looks at all his teammates as brothers. We have arguments and we get past those things." Coach T saying he felt terrible when heard things being attributed to C.P. were taken out of context. Said he let Coach Shanahan know that C.P. has done nothing but support J.C. on the show. He was not attacking you"J.C.",gut supporting you. Let's get past this,
