Hooper
That will be a hell of an improvement for the Raiders don't you think? Yes, because JC throws the longball so well. Also, Davis is wedded to Russell -- Tom Cable said so last night on Sirius.
Brandon Lloyd Christmas
If Shanahan takes a QB at #4 in this draft (especially one that hasn't taken a snap under center for a really long time) my new favorite sport is hockey. switch over to baseball man. the nats need some more fans. ill let you borrow my zimmerman jersey! stoney26
Ill be the first one to admit I am a JC "hater" but if this is what Bruce Shanahan wants then Im behind the decision 100%.
Skinswego
You obviously haven't seen any tape on him. Also I trust Dr. Andrews on the condition of his shoulder versus the crap you read on here. I trust Andrews as well, but some guys have had to see him a couple of guys in sports, and some guys have never been the same after him because of the injury not him. Have honestly seen Bradford play 10 games when he was healthy, and with our OL and he seems a decent QB, but not a #4 pick

OuterBanksTarHeel
One million percent irrelevant, though...the Skins will already be trying to trade him no matter if he wants to be traded or not. If they get a good enough offer before the draft they'll go for it. The most Campbell can do is threaten to sit out the season unless he's either traded or made longterm starter, and I honestly don't see him doing that. He'll have more confidence in his talent and skills and play for another year and hope to test the FA waters on his own in 2011. Did you just mention the word "confidence" and Jason Campbell in the same breath?

Botched
Please tell me our new coach believes in QB competitions. If Campbell has to be on this team it would be nice to see him earn his job for once, instead of the usual coddling/silver platter thing.

DMVSkins
When has Campbell ever thrown a "hissy fit"? Seriously, he handles himself with integrity. I think thats changing especially since his riff with Portis thats getting blown up, but I think JC will recognize he could either stay and start for Washington next season even if its for 7,8 games or he can be a back-up for another team either way neither seems flattering but I'd take option 1. I love the Caps but this post is just sad. You hate a guy so much you have a boycott against a team because he plays for them? Not to mention a guy who by all accounts is as classy as Campbell is? Give me a break.

pastha40
elibig ben phillip rivers carson palmer matt ryan joe flacco cutler too bad none of these guys panned out. lol Forgot to mention I was talking guys takin in 05 or later. So I will agree on BB & Rivers. No to Palmer, he really only had one good season. No to Jay Cutler, he throws way too many picks. Too soon to judge Falcco and Ryan. Falcons success was due to Michael Turner. Falcco could be a stud, although its still early.
Passizle
JC isn't going to like that and will throw a hissy fit. Yeah... because he has been know to do that in his past. JC is a team cancer. You think you could extend your "boycott" to include the ES message boards?

They will test him fully before doing anything. What I do not like and have seen in recent drafts is QB having workouts throwing a max of 25 passes to me thats weak and at times from the fake center position. Heisenberg
maybe he just doesnt agree with keeping one of the biggest reasons we suck on the roster for another season of failure? The only people who think he is one of the biggest reasons we suck are the fans. You won't hear any intelligent NFL person say that. Could the position be upgraded from the way he has played so far in his career? Sure - and they should do their due diligence and find out if they can get such an upgrade. But it can get worse and Campbell has not been the biggest problem - period.
Warhead36
I'm not totally against this. If Campbell is a RFA I'd tender him and try to trade him first, if not I'd hang on to him for a year as well. He's at least as good if not better than any other FA QB and if we draft a QB at #4, Campbell would be a great guy for a youngster to learn from as far as study habits and how to be a consummate professional. Passizle
the blow will be lightened if we do draft bradford.im still waiting to see how this plays out. Hey BLC, a litt OT, but I was wonderin if you could answer a question. Your dis-tatse and distrust in JC is well documented and you have made it pretty clear that you would probably rather have me play QB than JC next season... That being said, thinking of salary ramifications and the propensity for first round QB busts, are you really enamored with any of th QB's from this draft class? Especially to nab on a 4. They all seem kind of weak to me and have been like that all season... IMO anyways. What say you?

Mooka
Well, everyone is saying Shanahan is a bad personnel guy. With the ability to tender Jason for 1 year I really don't see how we don't keep him unless he really wants to leave or Shanahan really doesn't want him. You're insane if you don't think Campbell is confident in his talent and skills. Jason is the rare QB where there is actually evidence that he isn't. mcgraw238
If Campbell is brought back it will be so he takes the hits while the line is upgraded and jells. Does anybody really think that Shanahan is going to put the #4 in the draft behind our o-line? Finally, taking a QB at #4 should tell you all you need to know about Shanahan's thoughts on Campbell.
